kitty's Cottage is situated in a quiet street and the town, train station, park and little convenience shop are all in easy reach. The cottage itself is quaint, full of character and has a light and airy feel with a small green garden. There is a small front room which leads to the kitchen where there is a dinning table and chairs. From the kitchen there is a door which leads to the garden, at the bottom of the garden there is an outhouse which hosts the washing machine. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, one twin room and a small bathroom.
Cottage was comfortable and cosy, equipped with everything we needed. We met Esther and Richard and lovely Kitty, they were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Faversham is a really interesting town, lots to see, lovely buildings and very historical. The cottage is in a great location and once you get your bearings it's possible to get to town, river etc quickly. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back.
Had a wonderful week in this fantastic cottage only wish it had been longer . Everything that you could need the garden is an added bonus as we were having breakfast outside we also had 7 glorious days of sunshine lots of time spent on the beach. Excellent location Whitstable is a must visit also you have the lovely beaches in Broadstairs there are so many other places to visit the train station is walking distance from the cottage so is the town which is well worth a visit especially the days that they have their local market loads of fabulous places to eat will definitely be back
We loved our time in this house; everything was perfect, the decoration is beautiful, and it's really quiet. We were close to Canterbury and Dover, and London is about one hour away, so it's the perfect place to stay if you want to visit all the interesting areas in Kent. The house is not that big, but we were four people, including our two daughters, and it fits well for us. We had enough place for all of us, and the garden also is very nice. All the facilities are close, shops, parks ... Esther is adorable, and we even had a lovely Christmas card and chocolates to welcome us !! We highly recommend this house, and we would love to come back an other time.
A lovely little house in a very quiet area, very close to the town centre and its market as well as a recreation ground for the kids. A perfect place for a family of four. Canterbury and typical Kentish coastal towns are only fifteen to half an hour drive, Central London is an hour drive. So if you are a foreigner ( we're French) and want to travel around, Faversham is the perfect place to stay. The weather was fine so we could enjoy every day sightseeing ! but there are museums, art galleries exhibitions and many indoors activities for the children in the area in case of rainy weather. Esther is very nice and welcoming. She is always available and willing to help.
This house is perfect for families with (or without) dogs. Only five minutes away is a huge park with two playgrounds where everybody can play and have fun. Five minutes in the other direction are fields, the harbour and much space for all kind of activities like walking the dogs, running or cycling. The very beautiful old city is within a five minute walk either and shows many sweet shops.
The house itself is small but has enough space for everybody. Everything is clean and decorated very lovely. The yard in the back is perfect for kids and dogs since they can play without getting on the street. It is very calm, almost no cars and enough parking space, and the neighborhood is very nice. We had no problems neither with the kids nor the dogs.
The host Esther is very friendly and tries to fulfill every wish. Paying was no problem and the contact very nice.
For us, we will be back! It was a perfect holiday, only too short!!!
