An extended second floor two bedroom penthouse apartment with two bathrooms. The apartment has been well furnished and is in an ideal location, close enough to walk to the nearby bars, shops, restaurants of Villamartin Plaza or the golf course of Villamartin, yet far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. For your safety and security the pool and garden area is gated and there is a security entrance door. The apartment includes a lounge/diner, kitchen and balcony and is complete with two sun loungers, 4 beach chairs and a couple of sun umbrellas etc. There is a lift which gives access to the ground floor and pool area. A great choice for family holidays with the soft golden sandy, child friendly beaches just a 10 minute bus or car journey away at La Zenia, Campoamor and Playa Flamenca. A great choice for a golfers paradise with four excellent courses at Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and La Finca. The historic coastal fishing and working town of Torrevieja and the Salt Lakes of La Mata are also 15 mins away and the naval port of Cartagena, with its famous ‘Carthaginians And Romans’ fiesta in September commemorating the Battle Of Cartagena in 209 BC is just a 45 minute drive away.

About Steve Turner

The owners, both retired, live in England to the west of London in Ickenham, Middlesex. We visit Spain at least twice a year, hopefully more, and just love it. My wife has taken up Spanish lessons at our local library in Ruislip so that she can participate even more in the Spanish life style. I love to relax, read and listen to my iPod during the day and enjoy a good meal in the evening.

Why Steve Turner chose Orihuela

We love Villamartin because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are many beautiful sandy beaches along with the bars and restaurants of Villamartin Plaza. Just a little further afield are many other locations with shops, bars and restaurants. With the many golf courses, soft sandy beaches and the new shopping complex of La Zenia Boulevard there really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Murcia and Alicante airport less than an hours drive away and only 2½ hours flying time from London.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is just three miles from the fabulous beach. We provide beach umbrellas, beach chairs and a couple of sunloungers. For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of the three local golf courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor with many other golf courses a little further afield. For those in need of some 'retail therapy' there is La Zenia Boulevard, a new shopping complex to rival anything in the UK just down the road.

Coast/Beach:

La Zenia has a large, child friendly beach of soft golden sand is just a 10 minute car or bus journey away. It is very typical of the beautiful beaches in the area. It is framed by rocky outcrops and the lovely green/blue Mediterranean sea. During the summer there are lifeguards on duty. There is a beach snack bar, and the La Zenia Hotel for lunches is adjacent to the beach. Cala Capitan Beach, Campoamor Beach and Playa Flamenca are also excellent local beaches.

Travel:

Murcia San Javier airport approx 30 minute drive.

Alicante airport approx 50 minute drive.

Car hire is not essential but recommended.

Distances:

Cabo Roig, 10 minutes away has a picturesque marina with bars and restaurants.

The Strip, 10 minutes away on the main road (N332) in between Cabo Roig and Campoamor has a large selection of bars, restaurants and clubs.

Torrevieja, 15 minutes away is a typical Spanish working town with marina, markets, shopping centres, fun fair, water park, beaches, boat trips, a cinema and submarine museum.

Campoamor, 15 minute away with two large beaches, marina, bars and restaurants.

Outside: Outside there is a communal area with pool, children’s pool, pool shower and gardens. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are included and these are cleaned at the end of each stay of one week or over by our local agent/representative. Other: The apartment also contains a dryer/airer, iron and ironing board. The balcony with access via patio doors from the lounge has a table and 6 chairs with cushions. The large rooftop solarium is accessed via a staircase.

Fantastic apartment better then we thought the pictures do not do it justice, we had a fantastic time for our first time in Spain as a family, we look forward to booking up again and returning, loved every minute fantastic family memories, thank you 😃

Cleaning and Laundry Charge:
The cleaning and laundry charge only applies to bookings of less than one week.
On bookings of one week and over the charge is included in the weekly price.

Booking Notes:
To secure your booking our agents require credit card details. These details are held for security reasons and the card will only be used if you cancel the booking or there are any damages caused to the property during your stay. Payment for your stay is due upon arrival in Euros and in cash. All enquiries are handled by our local English agents in Spain.

Discounts apply for booking over 12 days.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. Check-in from 4 pm. On the day of departure the apartment must be vacated by 11am to allow sufficient time for cleaning and linen service.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in Euros.
Daily rates with a minimum stay of 3 nights stay are;
Spring & Autumn – 45 Euros per night.
Summer – 57 Euros per night.
Winter – 43 Euros per night.
A stay of less than one week will also incur a cleaning and laundry charge of 62 Euros. This is payable locally to our agent.

Payment for your stay is due upon arrival in Euros and in cash.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
