One bedroom cottage with bright and spacious living area and open plan kitchen. The garden provides extra living space with outdoor dining, sun loungers and a plunge pool (The plunge pool is actually a jacuzzi and can be heated but in summer is best enjoyed with a book and a glass of rosé).
The house is small but has everything you need for a relaxing holiday:
In the bedroom a very comfortable bed, good quality bed linen, plenty of wardrobe space and shutters to keep the sun out for a good lie-in.
In the living room a speaker system so you can hook up your ipod or MP3, comfortable armchair and couch and good speed WiFi.
In the kitchen all you need to cook with the fabulous local produce - dishwasher, oven, 4 ring vitroceramic hob, microwave, small fridge (+ a bar fridge in the laundry), toaster, kettle. The gas barbeque is half plancha and half griddle.
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, wc and handbasin.
In a lively village with a bakery, cafe / restaurant and a weekly village meal in summer, there is lots going on if you want to leave the cocoon! Everyone who comes here says they feel immediately at home. It's perfect for those who love nature, there are lots of wonderful walks or cycles starting from the front door.
From October to April the wood stove gives a lovely cosy atmosphere and great heat.
The house is opposite the village distillery and during the harvest - and this can continue into October - there are tractors and trailers arriving and discharging the "marc" (what is left after making wine). The garden is still completely private but this means there is noise and some agricultural smells.
