Stunning views. Well equipped and furnished. Warm and comfortable. Very welcoming hosts.
The Highlands are stunningly beautiful. Great forest walks, lovely places to visit, eg Calder Castle. Inverness itself is a lovely city, enjoyed the museum and walking along the river. Lots of wildlife, deer and a stag and hares, dolphins at Rosepoint, birdlife a plenty. Had a great cream tea in the farm shop near the Foyers falls. A wonderful place to rest and recharge our batteries and get away from it all.
Thanks for your kind review.
The castle you visited is Cawdor Castle and the dolphins can be seen at Rosemarkie.
The description and location was very accurate and the property was very well presented and comfortable. It was well maintained having all the equipment required for a worry free holiday. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, and the helpfulness of Ron & Jayne.
The area was quiet but in easy reach of Inverness and other places of interest. The property had a pleasant walk down to the river and other walks within easy reach.
We would certainly recommend this property to Family and Friends and would certainly return if ever up that way again.
