About Paul Abadjian
We have two apartments in Marbella. at La Mairena (S24133) and at Torre Real (S24782), one 1 bedroom apartment in Battersea, London, as well as Alpaca Cottage near Dorchester, Dorset. The Spanish apartments are both owned by Paul and his sister Jane Abadjian. Both apartments have been furnished and specified as homes, not merely as places to rent out, so the fixtures and fittings tend to be quite stylish and luxurious. The same applies to the London flat, which is owned by Paul and wife, Fiona. Alpaca Cottage represents all that is best about rural England, while still being easily accessible from London. Alpaca Cottage adjoins Court Barn, where Paul lives with Fiona. Paul and Fiona lives in west Dorset, with Sophie and Guinness, mother and son Spaniels and a small herd of 13 Alpacas ! They also offer a part of this property for holiday lets (Alpaca Cottage E 15146) Paul has enjoyed collecting classic Jaguars for more years than he cares to remember, and he and Fiona have enjoyed driving them in Russia, Argentina, the US, Australia and Tasmania.
Paul Abadjian purchased this Cottage in 2009
Why Paul Abadjian chose Frampton
First of all, please read the feed back from previous guests, which perhaps says more than we can! This is a perfect quiet rural retreat with open views across Capability Brown laid-out parkland, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Jurassic Coast. We do take well-behaved dogs for a £25 supplement. The cottage is stylish and practical, and we also provide a truly comprehensive file with suggestions of walks, places to visit, pub and restaurant recommendations, local history etc etc. There are several walks (both long and short) that you can do straight from your door, so you don't have to take the car, but if the weather has gone off (that CAN happen, even in Dorset!) we have a few interesting and fun driving tours included in the file. We also have bicycles to rent, as our drive forms part of The National Cycle Path. We are perfectly placed to explore the Jurassic Coast-a World Heritage site....just 10 miles away. We promise you a stay you will always look back on with affection, and hope to be able to welcome you soon to Alpaca Cottage!

Wonderful stay at Alpaca
We stayed at Alpaca for 3 nights for my wife’s birthday and it was truly fantastic. Really nice accommodation in a brilliant part of Dorset. Paul and family couldn’t have been more accommodating and meeting the Alpaca’s was a lovely bonus. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.........you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely return.
Me, wife + toddler stayed for five nights. We loved the cottage and the surrounding area. Clean and full of character. The hosts were away on holiday but communication was great. Paul answered all my emails promptly and in a kind way.
Fionas sister and husband was housesitting so the main building was not empty and we did not feel isolated/like strangers in someone elses home. They were very accomodating, and made us feel right at home -simplu great people! Our little son loved them too, they were like extra grandparents for him and gave us privacy and company all at once.
We are considering a stay again next year, the Alpaca cottage is worth a return visit. Overall a five star experience for our family, we made an excellent choice both in choosing the accomodation and area to use as a base for our holiday.
The perfect place for a short, peaceful stay...
My wife and I, and our little dog Bentley, stayed at Alpaca cottage for 3 nights (but wishing we had longer!)
The cottage was very well equipped, nicely furnished, and very cosy.
The grounds are wonderful and the Alpacas very amusing!
Nearest supermarket is 10 mins or so away but everything you need is within easy driving distance and there's plenty of exploring to do on the doorstep.
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and we have no complaints at all.
Thanks for having us!
We received a very warm welcome from Paul and Fiona. The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed feeding the alpaca and meeting Paul and Fiona's two friendly dogs. The cottage is well situated for local walks and for exploring Dorset. We have no hesitation in recommending Alpaca Cottage.
An enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings for a first trip to Dorset
The cottage was clean, tidy and spacious. The overall location was well presented throughout, and our hosts were very friendly, polite and helpful. Paul and Fiona left us a detailed guide to the area, which we found very helpful in ensuring our stay went smoothly. Paul kindly allowed us to feed the Alpacas one morning, and give us additional information about recommended routes to drive and locations to visit.
A really lovely cottage
we really enjoyed our stay at alpaca cottage the setting was lovely and peaceful with wonderful views of the countryside and the alpacas were very friendly as well. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice peaceful couple of days away, even though the owners were away they made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
Special interest holidays:
We are building up a small heard of alpacas, and are happy to talk this through with guests. We also have a collection of classic Jaguar cars kept at the house in the warmer months.
The nearest point on the Jurassic Coast is about 10 miles away.
The closest station is Dorchester. The closest airports are Bournemouth, Southampton or Bristol.
Dorchester is 5 miles. Yeovil is 14 miles.
Dorchester boasts more listed building in one street than any other town in the UK. It also has an abundance or restaurants, tea rooms, shops, bars, and two cinemas. There are some really excellent country pubs all around our area, many of which serve really good home-cooked food.
