|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
Our barn has been designed around family life and has a large, open planned arrangement, with a mezzanine overlooking the kitchen so that those conversations over glasses of wine can continue long into the evenings.
Stunning 12 foot long table made of scaffold boards, which allows seating for up to 12 comfortably--although we have had up to 24 at times!!
A separate games room contains a 40 inch television with a few English channels (no Sky Sports though unfortunately,nor movies) although there is an extensive DVD collection.There are games consoles--WII and XBOX and Playstation 2--each with some games---feel free to bring your own to play!) and a table football.
Double doors from the games room ,lead out to a graveled area suitable for boules or table tennis (we have a table tennis table capable of being used outside.)
The lounge has a double height ceiling,with double doors leading onto a secluded child friendly terrace from which you can sometimes watch our neighbour Jose drive his cows past in the Summer.
In addition,the lounge contains a log burning stove,for those cosy evenings watching the flames and contemplating life over a glass of wine.
We are a large family with 4 children and purchased a run-down farmhouse with an attached barn that had been used for storing straw/ trailers in 2000. We eventually finished renovating the barn in 2008 and have successfully rented it out as a holiday let since, as well as enjoying many holidays with family and friends. We hope you will enjoy it and love it as much as we do
