Shepherds Cottage is a lovely 18th century single story barn which has just been transformed into a romantic hideaway. It sits in a courtyard setting that is part of working stables. We are located on the fringe of the village which has two pubs that both serve food, and are within walking distance. The village has a farm shop, butcher and post office. The property features exposed beams and many retained period features, as well as a wood burning stove luxury shower room and fully fitted kitchen

We stayed at Shepherd’s cottage for week in May, on arrival we were welcomed with cookies and milk/wine in the fridge which was a nice touch.
The cottage is finished to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean, ideally situated to explore in and around Sussex.
Thank you Joanne & Mark for a very enjoyable stay.
Hope to stay again.

Love this cottage as s return visit and love the surrounding area and places to visit.
The cottage is immaculately presented and in a beautifully quiet and private spot. It's easy to get to the surrounding quaint towns and nature reserves which we love to visit too. Staying in a working stables is also a real treat. Will be back again I'm sure!
Very comfortable well equipped and clean. Good location friendly owners hope to return in the future
Really enjoyed our stay many places to visit in the area very relaxing holiday
Beautiful spot. Beautiful accommodation.
Just had two nights here and this little barn conversion was ideal. Lovely welcome with lots of thoughtful touches, such as lots of flowers throughout. Great shower and we had everything we needed in the kitchen and lounge area, however storage space for clothes would have been a little tight had we been staying for a week.
Lovely quiet spot though and Joanne was very welcoming and friendly.
