About fiona denovan

Both Andrew and Fiona have been involved in the tourist industry for many years. Fiona having run Highland Discovery Tours in the Spey Valley and Andrew running the busy youth hostel in Orkney.

We were married at the church of St Anne’s in Strathpeffer. Our two boys attend the local primary school and enjoy many of the outdoor activities that the area has to offer.

We look forward to welcoming you to Holly Lodge and Cottage and are committed to making sure you enjoy your stay with us.

Why fiona denovan chose Northern Scottish Highlands

We love living at Holly Lodge with its wonderful architecture and cobwebs. Set on an elevated site overlooking the preserved Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer.

It is in the heart of beautiful countryside and close to the wild west coast yet within easy commute of the city the Inverness.

There is so much to see and do here - never a dull moment!

What makes this guest house unique

We love the architecture of the buildings here in the village and that we are situated in a great area for exploring the north east and north west of Scotland.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a lovely time staying with you at Holly Lodge, its a beautiful house and you are all so friendly. We will definitely recommend you to our friends back in Texas. Mark & Kate

Wow! - what a great experience! From the entrance hall to the bedroom and down for a real Highland breakfast in the dining room, we will never forget it. Thank you. and - we didn't see any cobwebs! Mr & Mrs L Byatt Edinburgh

Your family is delightful and thankyou for your 'real' Highland hospitality. We stayed for a few days and enjoyed the central location for exploring the area and fantastic wildlife. The next time we will stay en-route to visit the Islands.

WOW! what a great place

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I visited Holly Lodge in January and were plesantly surprised of this wonderful Victorian house and hosts. Communication before our arrival was good. Andrew and Fiona are extremly helpful and Fiona gave us an excellent breakfast.Holly Lodge is a stunning property and situated very convenient for touring to the north and west.

We will highly recommend this area and house to our friends.
