£350 - £450 per week. Holly Cottage is a charming detached Victorian cottage situated in the garden grounds of Holly Lodge. Within a 5 min walk to the golf course and village. The cottage is 25 mins drive from Inverness and offers a great base for exploring the north west or east coast of Scotland. it is well equipped and we provide towels and linen and electricity at no extra charge. There is abedroom en suite, dining/sitting room and shower room. Utility room and kitchen.

About fiona denovan

Both Andrew and Fiona have been involved in the tourist industry for many years. Fiona having run Highland Discovery Tours in the Spey Valley and Andrew running the busy youth hostel in Orkney.

We were married at the church of St Anne’s in Strathpeffer. Our two boys attend the local primary school and enjoy many of the outdoor activities that the area has to offer.

We look forward to welcoming you to Holly Lodge and Cottage and are committed to making sure you enjoy your stay with us.

We love living at Holly Lodge with its wonderful architecture and cobwebs. Set on an elevated site overlooking the preserved Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer.

It is in the heart of beautiful countryside and close to the wild west coast yet within easy commute of the city the Inverness.

What makes this cottage unique

We just love the architecture of the buildings here in Strathpeffer and that we are situated in an excellent base for going north west or east.

Spent a few nights here at this cottage and enjoyed it. It makes a great base to visit the west coast and north east. Inverness is only a 30 min drive but we didn't want to stay in the city. Lovely walks from the cottage and it was well equipped. Thank s Fiona.

Notes on accommodation: There are 5 steps down to the cottage and 2 steps up into the front door. Rent the cottage off season for £80 per night. ( min 2 nights ) Outside: There is a patio / balcony area to enjoy breakfast on along with a glass of wine in the evening looking over the village and down the Peffery Strath. Utility Room: Utility room with washing machine, iron, bikes, tennis racquets, golf clubs, badminton racquets also available. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & linen & electricity are included

Wonderful place to stay, great location and views

Our family stayed at this cottage for a week during Christmas holidays. Fiona and her family are so welcoming. They shared their toys with our kids, offered DVDs. Cottage itself is very well equiped. You can find everything you need in the kitchen. We even found a ready made ice in the freezer that was very handy! You can also have duvets or pillows as many as you need for a good sleeping. Duvets and pillows are down&feather unless you ask otherwise so we had good nights. Very comfortable to park next to the cottage.

Fiona∧rew's respond in case of something goes wrong is just under a minute! Cottage views are just breathtaking, very beautiful garden even at winter time. Good location to drive to Inverness, Ullapool and other palces. We even managed to lose our way few times on purpose to enjoy wild nature!

We were also advised on places to visit.

My daughter has forgotten her teddies at cottage. Ans as it was too far to come back we asked Fiona and she was happy to send them to us!

We'll definitely come back next time! Probably in summer - to see a difference)))

Changeover day is normally a Saturday for weekly lets.

To reserve the cottage requires a £100 deposit and full payment 2 weeks before you arrive.

Last minute bookings are due in full at the time of booking.
