Super Cornish location
The property had everything we needed, and Pat was on hand to help with any questions we had. The garden is lovely for sitting and eating, and has a BBQ. There are a variety of shops, cafes and pubs etc within a short drive. We particularly liked Ethringtons Farm shop. The best thing for us is the location for cliff top walks. The stretch of coast from Perranporth to Godrevy lighthouse is outstanding, and Porthtowan sits right in the middle. The walk from St Agnes to Perranporth is amazing. When the sun shines you are spoiled for choice when it comes to local beaches and coves. If you want to venture further afield most parts of Cornwall are within easy driving distance. All in all we had a great time.
We were greeted warmly by Pat when we arrived. The property was perfect for our visit to Cornwall. Very cosy and comfortable. Little touches like tea, coffee and biscuits when we arrived and flowers in vases decorating the shelves. A good location for visiting many of Cornwall’s beaches and attractions.
Perfect for unwinding
Lovely annexe to the friendly owners property,in a great location for visiting the southern parts of Cornwall and surrounding area, pretty garden ,very peaceful.
Lovely! Lovely lovely!
Thank you for the lovely review. 😀
Pretty, peaceful and perfect!
We spent a fortnight in 'The West Wing' which is the best appointed accommodation we have rented bar none - and we have rented eighteen times! The warm welcome from Pat and Keith was great after a tiring journey and we felt nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The little touches - a fresh bar of soap, tea bags and coffee awaiting you and little vases of fresh flowers in all spaces makes it very welcoming indeed. With a basket of maps to help you explore and flyers for local attractions as well as a very efficient washing machine, the Lilleys have thought of everything.
We enjoyed its pretty little private garden very much, it was very quiet and relaxing, tucked away from the bustle of nearby Porthtowan. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable, cosy, peaceful place from which to explore mid Cornwall. (And I know it is not British to talk about price but it is extremely good value for money too.)
The views from a walk a few yards away from the annexe are stunning.
My husband walked to the beach and back but I did not as the walk back is jolly steep.
Nearby St Agnes has a little supermarket and an excellent butchers, as well as a good greengrocers and delicious fish and chips! The Victory Inn serves tasty food and is within walking distance if you both want a drink.
All in all this is a delightful place to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday and I heartily recommend it.
Many many thanks Karen what a lovely review. It was a real pleasure having you here & we would be very happy to see you both again. Thank you also for leaving everything in such good order. Kind regards Pat & Keith
