In spring and autumn there is generally plenty of sun although the temperatures are lower than in the summer. December to March is the wet and windy period. In summer the wind is usually very light in the mornings, picking up around noon and dying away at sunset. Our experience at Anna’s house was unforgettable. The house is wonderful, located on the side of Ionian Sea. The scenery was magnificent; it made us feel like we are in a small paradise. Anna and her husband, Panos, were very polite and they welcomed us as friends. They shared useful information with us, including the best beaches and restaurants around the area. They also told us to attend a Greek music performance in the theatre of Ancient Olympia and we had a lovely time there. My husband and I will remember this vacation for years and we really hope to go back soon.
We stayed at Villa Feia for our honeymoon and did not regret it for a moment. The owners and Saskia made us feel very welcome. The surroundings of Villa Feia are beautiful, with the ocean sounds, private garden, swimming pool and sandy beaches very nearby. The house is also beautiful and well maintained by the owners. You can see the love the have put in this place. Also, everything you need is available (kitchen utensils, clean towels and bedsheets etc..). If you need tips and advice for daily trips or good food, ask Saskia or the owners Anna and Panos. They now the area by heart. Make sure to visit Olympia. We loved driving around, visiting small beaches en and having diner in local restaurants and tavernes. Couldn't have a better honeymoon. Anna, Panos and Saskia, thanks for your great hospitality!
It was a marvellous experience for my family and I to spend our vacation at Villa Feia.
The first morning we woke up, it was stunning to see the Ionian sea in front of your window. We enjoyed every aspect the villa; the pool, the house,
the garden, the close access to the sea, the walks around the area and the local food. The house and the garden were very unique, as they were decorated based on Greek aesthetics, while incorporating the personal style of the owners. Anna & Panos were always there to help us with questions and recommendations for local trips and leisure activities. We felt like family guests, while our privacy was fully respected.
We would highly recommend Villa Feia for those who wish to experience an authentic environment in Peloponnese and have a relaxing and refreshing vacation in a small paradise.
@Anna & Panos: Thank you for your time and effort to make our vacation unforgettable. Auf wiedersehen.:)

What shall we say about our Holiday at Villa Feja. It was perfect, magnificent, relaxing, friendly, just superb. We are now in big trouble because we will not want to go anywhere else in the future.
For those who read this description: Perfect location in terms of breathtaking view, beautiful property, location close to Olympia and other places of interest. The property was clean and perfectly maintained. Not far away you find really nice and good tavernas. The private sea access is amazing.
All in all we just can say that we hope that we lived really this holiday and that it was not just a beautiful dream.
Thanks a lot to Anna, Panos and Saskia.

Panos and Anna have created a little Paradise in their yard on the shore of the Ionic sea, next to the Mercury vineyards, green and full of flowers. The house has everything that is need, the pool is great for a cooling dip in the afternoon and the backyard looked like a botanic garden. In the morning a swim in the sea in lagoon, neighboring their backyard is a refreshing and relaxing experience. Panos and Anna are great hosts making an effort to make there guest feel at home and make their stay pleasant and memorable.
Korakachori is a small village in a mainly agricultural area, with a nice tavern in its small center. Around Korakachori are many villages with nice beaches, and restaurants that serve with good, fresh and affordable meals. The visit to ancient Olympia with personal tour guide Saskia was definitely one of the highlights of our stay and so were the road trips through the mountains in central Peloponnesus with its authentic mountain villages, great views and flowery roadsides. In summary: a great place for taking a break.
It doesn't need a lot of words to describe Villa Feia:
The setting at the Ionian Coast is just perfect. The nearby location of ancient Olympia, the touristic village of Katakolo or the modern Greek town of Pyrgos are always worth to visit. For swimming, there is pool and a stony cove just in front of the house. If you prefer sandy beaches there are plenty of them within a short drive.
The landlords Anna and Panos with the support of Saskia are very helpful and make you feel at home ride from the first moment. For us it is truly one of the best places to be in Greece.
We will come again!
The property itself once belonged and is adjacent to the Merkouri Estate. The renowned estate is extensive with over 150 years of history in the production of wine, olive oil and in the olden days, Corinthian grapes (or currants). The estate vineyards are located beside the family residence and in two nearby locations, with
a total area of approximately 180 acres. The land and the climate are particularly well-suited for the production of high-quality wines. Domaine Mercouri using the wonderful nature that surrounds the old and traditional architecture, the facilities, the the hospitality of its human resources and brand products, offers Agrotourism services to small or larger groups of friends of nature and wine.
Great monuments and archaeological places of international importance such as Olympia, Ancient Ilis, Epikourios Apollon are at a close distance. Katakolo which is a small marine city located at the area of the ancient Fia and it is the current port of the prefecture.
