Cottage in Grasmere, Lake District, Cumbria, England - The Property Is Tucked away In A Quiet Corner In Parrock Mews, Close To The Village Green

Low Croft is a stones throw from the centre of grasmere village. It has the advantage of one parking space where you can leave your car whilst you explore the village and surrounding area. It is possible to park up on arrival and not use the car again until you leave. There is a bus stop by the village green. All walks start from the village centre - Helm crag, Silver Howe, Loughrigg, Easedale Tarn, Alcock Tarn and of course Helvellyn. There are too many walks to list. Low Croft is also close to the

shops, restaurants, pubs and bus stops. The lake is close by where you can hire

rowing boats. You can also explore the area by bicycle which you can leave in the utility room. Changeover day - Saturday

Great cottage in a central location

Just got back from a 4 night break to this lovely cosy cottage. Everything you can possibly need for self catering. Has a very large storage/laundry room on the ground floor very handy for storing and drying our golf clubs. Up a few stairs to the living accomodation, we were a party of 4 adults and we had plenty of room with the open plan living/ dining/ kitchen area. Up a few more stairs to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom, bedrooms a decent size, plenty of storage for clothes. May not be suitable for people with problems climbing stairs as over 20 to climb from ground floor to the bedrooms. Great location central in Grasmere village, parking space was a plus as not much free long stay parking in the village. Cottage is located at the bottom of the courtyard and is very peaceful and quiet. We all had and great time. Thankyou for everything Ann.
