Monte Laguna is a development surrounded by the fairways of the Millennium Golf Course with the club house a short walk away. The apartment is new and has a Master bedroom, dressing area and en-suite including a Jacuzzi bath. There is ample wardrobe space and central air conditioning across the apartment. This bedroom has a balcony to catch the early morning sun. The second bedroom has two single beds and shares the Master bedrooms balcony. The kitchen has all mod cons with a utility room attached. Electric shutters throughout the apartment. The south facing, large wrap around balcony provides a fantastic view of the pool and well-kept gardens.
After holidaying in Monte Laguna, Vilamoura for the last 4 years we decided it was time to buy our own place. We have fallen in love with Portugal and its hospitality, weather and golf. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We live in Guernsey and have two grown up sons both working in the finance sector.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in this apartment. The apartment was excellent, it had everything that you could need, and was also a lot bigger than it looked on the photographs. The kitchen was well equipped and it was ideal having with two bathrooms and the wifi.The apartment was very modern , well maintained and very clean.
The balcony was very spacious and looked over the lovely pool. The pool had plenty of sun beds at any time of the day which was great, and the pool was very clean and the gardens were very well maintained.
Vilamoura marina was very nice and lovely to sit having a meal on the waterfront. It was about eight euros in a taxi , but would also recommend a car, for exploring other areas and also for visits to the supermarket.
There was no problem with our late arrival and we were met by Viv with the keys and she had also got in some supplies , milk etc which we were very grateful for.
The booking process was very smooth and Kevin and Linda were very helpful and gave us lots of tips about the area.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and would return again in the future.
The appartment is modern and well equiped and has a nice view on the quit pool.
We liked the facilities and the Wifi, but you definitely need a rental car, because for grosseries or just your daily bread you need to drive for at least 5 KM to the next village or supermarket. We had a fantastic week and enjoyed our stay, but a car is a must.
This was our first visit to Portugal and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a holiday in Vilamoura to all of our friends and family.
We arrived at Linda and Kevin's outstanding apartment late evening due to flight delays but still had a warm welcome from Viv, the housekeeper. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. The pool area is fabulous and during our stay we practically had the pool to ourselves!
Vilamoura has everything you desire for a lovely holiday - a stunning marina with lots of great restaurants, shops and a vibrant atmosphere.
Beautiful beaches are on either side of the marina, with beach restaurants/cafe's.
And if you fancy visiting somewhere a little more rustic, the lovely fishing village of Alvor is less than an hour's drive away, and has lots of fabulous seafood restaurants and shops on the street leading down the hill to the harbour.
The apartment was perfect, with a great view of the pool. Very relaxing, with all the mod cons we required; air con, wi fi, internet tv, dishwasher etc.
Very clean and well maintained. Pool area was super also.
We hired a car for getting around as the marina,shops & restaurants are a 10 minute drive, we did get a taxi to/from the marina which only cost €8 each way.

Beautifully maintained apartment, bright, modern and comfortable. Pool area superb for relaxing in the sunshine. Met by Viv who was extremely helpful going out of her way to make our stay perfect. A short drive/cycle away are some beautiful beaches and the town with plenty of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes. For those who can't escape work the internet access is excellent and the balcony provides an excellent office!
Lovely break in this fantastic apartment. Met by 'Viv' the housekeeper who took us on a tour down to the Marina and then to the Supermarket for us to stock up. If you intend to tour around then you need to hire a car. If like us you just want to relax by the pool and go to the Marina in the evening then a car is not an essential as a taxi is only €8 each way. When you phone from the apartment they arrive within 15 minutes and to get back there are always plenty of Taxis on the rank even at 1.30am if you fancy the music bars in the evening. If you like walking then the Marina and Beach will take you about an hour. Restaurants on Marina are more expensive than the one's that are about 150yards away behind the Marina and worth the walk. Plenty of flyers being given out for free wine so watch out for these. Try the Thai restaurants, worth the price. We went Mid September and had plenty of sunshine every day, pool area nice and quiet so bring a good book or two to make the most of it. Great holiday, will come again.
Vilamoura has two beautiful beaches, Falesia and Marina beach, both of which have long golden sands with warm water (21c summer) and are only a few minutes away, by car, from Monte Laguna.
Falesia has more facilities with snack bars and loungers etc and with sports like surfing, canoeing and windsurfing taking place.
Faro airport 25 minutes drive from Monte Laguna and is serviced by a whole host of UK and international carriers. Taxis from the airport are inexpensive however hiring a car permits you to take in much more of the Algarve.
Vilamoura Marina 5 mins and Faro 25 mins by car.
Vilamoura Marina area has a host of supermarkets, restaurants and shops to satisfy all of your needs. As well as golf there are a large number of activities available from horse riding, tennis and water sports. Also there is nothing better than just spending a lazy day around the quiet pool and relaxing.

Full payment within 6 weeks. A 20% non refundable deposit payable by cheque of reservation, with balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. A breakage deposit is payable on arrival at the apartment of Euro or sterling 200 in cash. This will be returned on departure if no damage or breakages.
Standard arrival time is after 2pm and check out 11am. Changes can be made subject to availability.
