Razzett Harruba is a fabulous house of character in ‘Birbuba’, an extremely tranquil ‘cul de sac’ on the outskirts of the village Gharb and just a few minutes’ walk from the famous San Dimitri chapel. The house is a couple of kilometres away from Dwejra and close to cliffs on the North and West coast of Gozo. This area around the farmhouse is an ideal location for country walks, making the house a great place to stay in Spring and Autumn as well as the Summer season. The farmhouse has been built using traditional Maltese architectural features like wooden beams, limestone arches, stone floors and wrought iron. Swimming Pool faces West giving spectacular views of the sunsets. The surrounding terrace is ideal to lounge around and has plenty of space for BBQ’s as well. The pool is 5.25mt x 2.75mt (Shallow part is 1.2mt deep and deep end is 2.2mt deep). There is an outside shower near pool. The kitchen leads into a large sitting/dining room that overlooks the pool/BBQ area. Views of the sun setting on the sea in the distance beyond the Gozitan countryside can be enjoyed from here. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, gas cooker/electric oven, microwave oven, electric toaster and electric kettle, and is open plan with the Dining Area.

SCUBA DIVING - Gozo is a well known scuba diving destination. The house is situated only a 10 minute drive away from most diving service providers and dive sites around the coast.

RAMBLING / BIKING - Walking and mountain biking holidays are more popular in Spring, Autumn and Winter since Summer temperatures often exceed 30 deg C. The house is situated on Gozo's North-west corner, an ideal starting point for country walks and bike rides.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest rocky beach, the Inland Sea at Dwejra is a 5 minute drive away whilst the sandy beaches are merely 15 minutes away. The island's main sandy beach, Ramla Bay is accessible through XAGHRA or NADUR, has easy parking, is never crowded and has a couple of small restaurants. Sun beds and umbrellas can be rented. San Blas (NADUR) is a beautiful sandy beach, only a 100m long, never crowded but a challenging long walk to get to. Hondoq Bay (QALA) is opposite Comino's Blue Lagoon.

Travel:

Luqa (MALTA - MT - MLA) is the nearest and only airport.

Airport to CIRKEWWA ferry terminal - 35 min drive.

Ferry - 30 minutes.

Mgarr Gozo ferry terminal to house (GHARB) - 15 min drive.

They also serve to ensure patrons have comfortable, mosquito-free nights. Outside: The PRIVATE swimming Pool faces West. Country views as well as distant sea views and spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the deck area. The surrounding terrace is tranquil and ideal to lounge around and has plenty of space for BBQ’s as well. The pool is 5.25mt x 2.75mt (Shallow part is 1.2mt deep and deep end is 2.2mt deep). There is an outside shower near pool. Pool cleaning and maintenance is included in the price. Utility Room: Extra beds (in the larger bedrooms), Flat screen TV (Melita Cable 80 channels), DVD player, Automatic Washing Machine, Mobile BBQ, Ceiling fans, Stand fans, Iron, Ironing board, Baby Cots, Free WiFi. Winter - Gas heaters, Wood burning stove. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are supplied and changed weekly. The house is cleaned once a week. More frequent cleaning can be arranged against payment. Beach towels are not supplied. Other: A spacious terrace upstairs offers splendid views to the West. 2 box rooms down stairs are ideal to store, suit cases, cleaning materials, beach-ware, shopping, etc.
