Hello. We bought this apartment last year as Whitby is one of our favourite UK holiday destinations. We come and stay in our apartment regularly with our two grandchildren. My children also use this property, as they love this place as much as we do. We come from North Yorkshire so not to far to travel with young children.
Ann Richardson purchased this apartment in 2014
We had been looking for a property for the last two years in Whitby, we just love the place. It is a small coastal town which has lovely narrow old fashioned streets, fantastic little shops and massive array of restaurants. There is loads of good walks in the area, and some lovely beaches. We love to go the goth weekends, it is like walking through a gigantic film set. The costumes are amazing. Whitby has something for everyone no matter what age you are.
There is lots of properties to rent in Whitby. But we have better views than most. Huge window from the lounge and master bedroom. Waking up on a morning and sitting in bed looking at the view. Amazing.
Stunning property, loved the views and the location was perfect. Thank you for the Welcome pack, cant wait to book again. Mrs Cobb - Kent
We have had a fantastic time! The bed was so comfy. Will book another weekend soon - Rachel Barker, Bagby
Loved the views thank you for the lovely cake it was a really nice touch. Steve and Emma, York
Lovely little apartment , clean modern lovely location immaculately presented , I have stayed in various places across Whitby and without a doubt safe haven was by far the best !
Everything we wanted and more. no negatives whatsoever, very comfy, wake up views to die for, Ann phoned to see if everything ok. No dogs and no smoking a big bonus, we will return.....
Stayed for the weekend in this fantastic cottage. What a credit to the owners. Ann was great to deal with and even phoned us on our first evening to ensure everything was okay. Beautiful views, great location. This was our first stay in this cottage we will certainly be back for our annual trip to Whitby. Thankyou Ann
this cottage is well furnished the location is perfect views across the harbour are to die for really enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again
An absolutely lovely apartment. Very well-furnished, lovely and clean, a pleasure to stay in. To sit in bed with a brew on a morning, watching the sea (with the children in bed with us watching cbeebies!) was just so relaxing. We mostly ate out but the kitchen was really well-equipped.
We did find the back bedroom quite noisy, just from people running up and downstairs to the pub but we expected that when we booked, and it didn't keep the boys awake and it was certainly outweighed by the fantastic location. We could hear the music but it wasn't too loud and didn't go on too late.
We have stayed in a few places in Whitby and overall this was the best. We would definitely recommend and visit again ourselves.
We love Whitby, plenty to do and close to other lovely places like Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes.
This cottage is a little gem. Peace and quiet, away from the crowds yet literally in the heart of the old town - but you wouldn't think so. The only noise being the water and boats in the harbour, and the very, very faint sound of music from the pub up stairs on Friday night only.
The cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The views from the living room and main bedroom are wonderful and the double glazing so good the seagulls didn't even wake us up.
Ann was a pleasure to deal with and made everything so easy, and even provides hot drinks provisions as well as a welcome bottle of wine.
I'd recommend this cottage to anyone and we will return.
