Beautiful cosy cottage
We had a two night break here and loved the cottage. Everything that you needed was in there and the extra touches of bread, milk, wine, fresh coffee and eggs were greatly appreciated. Diana and Stephen were just great and couldn't have done more for us, even offering to put us up for an extra night because of the snow. The garden is lovely and I can only imagine it's beauty in the summer listening to the brook. Our dog loved his stay too and enjoyed some treats left in the doggy tin for him. I have definitely recommended to family and friends. Great walks so close to. Thanks again for a great stay.
Thank you for your lovely review, we try to make sure our guest have a lovely relaxing break with all the comforts from home and sometimes offer to help them out when we have advers weather. Hopefully you will return in the future.
Lovely Cottage, Lovely Setting and Lovely Hosts. Well worth a visit.

Lovely little cottage set in a beautiful garden right on the edge of the Forest of Dean
Diane and Steve have renovated this former workshop into a very clean and homely holiday cottage just across the road from their house. The garden is surrounded by a babbling stream, and is beautifully landscaped, including a great little summer house in the far corner - perfect for just whiling away a sunny day. Dog walks are right on your doorstep; there is very little traffic on the road beside the property and you can be in the heart of the ancient forest within five minutes. The house is immaculately well kept, and the double bed is very comfortable. It's also a very private space, although Diane and Steve are always available, including fuel for the wood burner and free-range eggs from their chickens. We will definitely be returning.
Most enjoyable, (even though it poured down for the week) owners very helpful. Would book again.
