Seashore is situated at the apex of the beautiful Payne's Bay - just a mile south of Sandy Lane Hotel on the prestigious St James west coast of Barbados.

The property is close to all amenities including grocery stores, banks, duty-free shopping, restaurants, bars and a state of the art cinema. Getting around is easy, frequent public transport or taxis are readily available or a rental vehicle can be arranged if you prefer.

With its beach-front position, water-sports of all types can also be arranged for you or for a more relaxing time, laying on the beach, a nice dip in the ocean and snorkelling on the reef are the perfect way to spend the day.

Barbados has something to offer for every taste, with the ocean, our caves and forests or a day of shopping we are happy to suggest the perfect day out for you and your family or friends. We are proud to offer a very personal service and can be as available as you require. We can make suggestions of things to do and places to go, book your outings or arrange a taxi service or a rental vehicle for you.

If your family consists of 1-4 members you can rent the house with only 2 bedrooms. Special rates apply.

We first stayed at Seashore 2011, had a fantastic time and returned ever since. An idyllic place to stay to relax and have fun!..Seashore is comfortable and beautifully located right on the beach front at St James. Staff made sure that our stay was perfect with all our needs attended to! Wendy and James Rutledge.

The house comfortably holds 8 adults with lots of different areas to "hang out" in. The balcony adjacent to the master bedroom was a hit. Just few steps into the wonderful sea, the snorkelling area, the long walks on the beach added to a great holiday. THE STAFF was so helpful and we shall return. Janice McMechan

Amazing!

This is our second time staying at the beach house. We had an amazing time. The house was great. The location was perfect and Paynes Bay is beautiful. I highly recommend staying here. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the island!

Another fabulous stay at Seashore

Here is a review, as requested:

We have been renting accommodation from Calypso Rentals for the past nine years. We have stayed in three different houses and find SEASHORE to be particularly pleasing because of its location (right on the beach at Paynes Bay) and because it can accommodate up to eight guests. While the house is not luxurious, it is very comfortable with good-sized seating areas both inside and outside. A new addition this past year was a roof over the outdoor dining area which enabled us to easily accommodate 8-10 people for a meal. The bedrooms are quite spacious, and having three bathrooms makes living in a large group quite manageable. Elizabeth and Sarah (from Calypso Rentals) have been consistently helpful and accommodating, both while arranging the rentals and upon arrival. Taxi service is arranged, food and beer are waiting for us in the refrigerator, and we are always warmly welcomed year after year. The staff who have assisted us during our stays have been professional (and fun), very competent, and helpful. We could not have had better, more welcoming, service. We feel that Seashore is our second home. Looking forward to next year!

Great value

Accomodation was great for 4 adult couples and 1 child. Lots of nooks and crannies and house is right on a popular beach. 8 beach lounges right in front of the house on the beach. Small lovely verandah upstairs.Long dining table in covered area just off the living room.Bedrooms comfortable and roomy; king size beds.Kitchen is adequate and well stocked with cooking and serving necessities. Stove is 6 burner; 5 operational elements(gas). Owner and manager, Wally and Sarah very helpful,attentive and quick in dealing with any emergencies. Sarah was very helpful in providing flowers etc for wedding we had the front yard. Bruce the caretaker also great and Fiona the cleaner arrived every 2 days. Taxi to and from airport was booked by Wally. Close to Holetown-groceries, restaurants,shopping--30 minute walk , 5 minutes by public transportation steps away--buses, taxis. We rented car for touring. Beach busy when cruise ship in ; very quiet in the a.m. Great swimming. Great value; we will return. The only con: street noise as the house is one house away from the main road; however in Barbados if you want to be in a beach house, more often than not, you will be close to a main road. I would recommend

Magnificent beachfront location.

We chose Seashore because of its position on the beach in St James and it exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I decided to invite along two of our grown-up Sons and partners. Always a bit of a challenge living on top of each other as young adults and parents often like different types of holiday.

No worries there as Seashore is a bit of a Tardis and more than accommodated our different spaces simultaneously.

As a previous reviewer commented, it is exactly what you see in the photos. It's not Ultra-modern but rather very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Couldn't get closer to the waves and listening to sea and whistling frogs at night exquisite.

Shaded patio outside with BBQ great for get togethers in the evening.

Ironically we were talking about getting a sunset cruise until we realised the boats parked directly offshore from sun loungers on beach through garden gate at Seashore, so good is the sunset view.

We found the position of Sunset was perfect and proximity to local amenities second to none. Short hop up the coast road and supermarket which would put Sainsbury's to shame. Access to restaurants really good.

On our last night we tried Tides, a relatively new restaurant which is 5 mins away. On our past visits to Barbados we've tried the Cliff but they definitely should be worried about Tides - highly recommended 🙂

We found Service staff to Seashore villa absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

I've been all over Barbados 🇧🇧 but this was most special and has it's own charm. Brilliant if you want to combine both independance and privacy living on the beach with excellent close access to local amenities, food, bars and unbelievable sunset views.

Will most definitely be coming back 🙂👍

Perfect place in paradise!

A group of 8 of us stayed here for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday.

From the moment we booked, Wally was really helpful and assisted us not just with queries about her property, but also with car hire, a taxi from the airport, and recommending places to go around the island. Easy to correspond with, and felt like a very personal service.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly house manager, Sarah. She showed us around and was contactable all week if we needed her. A lovely lady who made sure we were well looked after.

The house was just perfect. You walk out the back gate directly on to the beach, where your own sun loungers are waiting for you! We snorkelled most days with turtles before breakfast, took a walk along the beach, or just enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house is in a great location. You can walk to Sandy Lane one way, down to The Cliff restaurant the other way, a short hop on the bus to Holetown, or catch any of the other numerous busses to easily get around the island. We had a hire car for a few days but used the easy bus service the rest of the time.

There are 4 bedrooms in the house that can be made up as twins or double rooms, which suited our needs well, and they have air con and a fan. The house is cleaned several times during your stay, inside and out. Linen, towels and beach towels were provided, and there is also WiFi available - although try not to use it and enjoy what Barbados has to offer instead!! The living area was a comfortable size, and outdoors there are several seating areas with plenty of space. We made use of the BBQ one night, but ate out locally the rest of the time. We would recommend Scarlet's, Just Grillin', Ragamuffins (ask Bruce about that one!!), The Cliff Beach Club for a special occasion (or The Cliff if you have plenty of cash!!), Daphne's for happy hour cocktails, and the Roti Hut for a tasty lunch snack.

Bruce lives next door and looks after the house too. We would see him every day, and he was great and recommending places, helping us work out the 'reggae bus', telling us funny tales, and advising which rum was best!!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this property and would love to go back. Thank you Wally, Sarah and Bruce for such a fabulous welcome and looking after us - a perfect place in paradise!

Relaxing fantastic Family Christmas Holiday

The villa is located directly onto a wonderful sandy beach where you can swim with the turtles and other lovely brightly coloured fish all day long.

Sarah the manager provied us with all the help we need and even purchased a Christmas tree with all the decs and lights along with some food items we had asked to be got for us and the most importantly the ingrediants for a very strong rum punch-Sarahs personnal recipe. Sarah even organised the car rental for the family along with advising us on where to go on the island.

The property is cleaned every day from new lining and towels to even doing the washing up!!

Bruce the handman come oricle of everything Barbados is on hand 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble for him.

The owner was extremely good at answering our questions via email and we even spoke to her on the phone before we went. Nothing was too much trouble for her to organise.

The jewellery sellers and water activity sellers were extremely polite and curtius and did not hassel you on the beach.

We went to The Cliff, Sandy Lane, Nishis, Scarlets, Asian Spice, Roti Shack and Connies restaurants which were all good. Along with numerous other little snack bars and restaurants. The only down side with all the restaurants is everything is in Barbadian Time i.e. nothing is rushed!!

We also went to Horse Races on Boxing day which was a fun day with lots of lovely food and Rum!!!

All in all a lovely holiday and yes would recommend to family and friends and yes would go back.
