The 2 bedroom penthouse has been luxuriously designed to make your stay relaxing and care free . The kitchen is fully equipped and the penthouse can cater for a family of 5 or simply just a couple looking for a romantic break. The master bedroom has spectacular sea views and waking up with your own terrace will be a treat. The second bedroom has a single and a bunk bed (sleeps 3) and has great views of the church and countryside.
After a long day at the beach unwind on the 10 metre sun terrace which has sea and pool views . The sun terrace is equipped with sun blinds and modern rattan dining furniture for your convenience for morning breakfast or a evening meal.
The penthouse has access to a communal pool; open all year round!
My partner and I have been living in Gozo since 2011 after moving from the U.K. We used to own a Cleaning & Maintenance business which i decided to sell to relax in the sun :-) After a couple of months in Gozo i realised there was a gap in the market here for high quality rental apartments as most here in Gozo fell short of the mark, So here we are 2 years later designing & renting out apartments and making peoples holidays a holiday to remember..

This was our first visit to Gozo and we were so spoilt to be able to stay in this fantastic apartment. It is modern, fully equipped with everything you could need while on holiday. The large balcony with retractable shade allowed for al fresco dining which was great. The aircon and free wifi were an added bonus. Our 4 year old loved the pool and it was so convenient to be able to pop down for a dip whenever we wanted to. I couldn't recommend this apartment more highly. We'll definitely be back.
When we booked Ir-Rixa we were worried it might not be as good as the pictures but in fact it was better.
Kirsti was waiting for us when we arrived from the ferry and showed us to the apartment with a great little introduction and overview of the complex and apartment amenities.
It was just myself and my boyfriend staying for a week and we had so much space, the balcony is huge and seemed to be the prime spot on the apartment complex- view over to comino from one side and view of the pool from the front of the balcony which overall gets loads of sun although you're likely to be out and about exploring the island during the day anyway!
The kitchen had everything you would expect from or need in a self catering apartment and the 3 A/C units kept the place lovely and cool.
As we visited in June in the mid-season the whole complex was very peaceful and quiet which was perfect for us.
Overall, great service from initial enquiry through to leaving after our stay and the apartment was wonderful.

For our first family holiday to Gozo we couldn't have chosen a better apartment to stay. The apartment was great value for money and offered more that one could expect for the price like a welcome pack of water, milk, cereal, bread, butter, ham, cheese, tea/coffee and wine (very nice and would suggest the rose version if one is out and about shopping), free WIFI, free air con (3 air con units in the apartment), 2 TVs, a DVD player and the all important pool for the kids.
The apartment is well designed, spacious and bright with beautiful sea views towards Comino from a very spacious balcony (10 metres!). The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for self catering along with an electric/gas hob oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washer, dishwasher, - everything is catered for even washing up liquid and bathroom toiletries.
The apartment is located within secure residential complex about a 10 minute walk from/to Mgarr harbour and 5 minute walk from/to Ghajnsielem so you are near bus stops, restaurants, supermarkets, ferry to/from Malta, sightseeing boat trips etc... Although there are good bus routes I would recommend, if you can, hiring a car so that you can explore Gozo fully.
What really impressed us was that the apartment information, description and pictures truly reflected what we found on our stay. Kirsti and Carl are very welcoming and helpful owners who maintain high standards and level of service.

The most popular swimming spot in Ghajnsielem is ix-Xatt l-Ahmar (meaning “Red Beach”) It is a secluded beach lying on the coast of the village which is also a popular site for divers. Other beaches around Gozo and only a short car journey away are Ir-Ramla il-Hamra — (the Red Sandy Beach), San Blas and Hondoq-ir-Rummien.
The nearest airport to Gozo is Malta International Airport which is in Luqa and about a 45 minute drive to the Cirkewwa Ferry Port, it is here that you will need to board the Gozo Channel ferry and enjoy a 25 minute scenic journey passing the small island of Comino then finally arriving in the picturesque Mgarr harbour of Gozo. The best way to explore Gozo would be by car hire which we can arrange for you or simply choose to use the public transport which is currently managed by Arriva.
The village is very self-sufficient, with two major supermarkets, various small groceries / corner shops, post office, gym, two pharmacies and a choice of amazing restaurants and bars. It is also located on the main bus link to the capital city of Victoria and a short walk away from the harbour where more restaurants and bars can be found as well as the ferry link to the main island of Malta and water taxis to the smaller island of Comino.

A booking is confirmed on receipt of a 30% deposit with the balance (both payments non-refundable) payable 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. We ask for a security deposit of €200 Euro which may be paid on your arrival. This is to cover the cost of replacements in the unlikely event of damage, otherwise it will be returned to you in full at the end of your stay. Prices for bookings of 15 days or more are negotiable.
