Our property Ladière consists of two adjacent houses, La Grange and La Ferme. La Grange: La Grange is an old cowshed. This building has been completely renovated, respecting the original building construction. La Grange is spacious and luminous. Because of the large see-through doors, you can experience outside nature while having your cup of coffee inside. You can see the deers passing by on the hills. La Grange has a cathedral ceiling and spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen (total 72m2). Our open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. It has a large Falcon gas stove with two ovens and a grill. If you like to cook, you can prepare your lovely dishes in this professional kitchen and enjoy it all together. La Ferme: La Ferme is the original farm that has also been completely renovated for comfortable usage on all three floors. At the backside of the farm we installed an extra door. Therefore La Ferme is more luminous then before and you can install yourself enjoying the morning sun. Ecological pool: We have opted for a ecological pool, 7m x 18m and 2m deep, instead of a chlorine or salt pool. This ecological pool is beautifully set in the landscape. It’s nice to look at in summer and winter. Even if you don’t swim in it, it is still a marvellous feature in the garden. The ecological pool is divided in to two parts. One part to swim in and one part that contains the plants and lava stones (so you won’t feel any tickling from the plants around your legs!). A water pump keeps the water moving around and filters the water through the lava stones and the plants. Because of the moving water, mosquitoes are prevented from reproducing in the pool. As we have mentioned before, we do not add chlorides or salts to the water. The water is very natural, feels soft on your skin and smells nice.
