The front entrance leads into a comfortably furnished lounge with TV/DVD (freeview), Radio/CD, open fire with a range of books, games and local information. Fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with electric cooker/hob, microwave, fridge & washing machine. The downstairs bathroom leads off the lounge with bath, toilet, WHB, and shower over the bath. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with plenty wardrobe space. A twin room which has access to the single room. The cottage has a small front garden where deck chairs are provided. Opposite there is a play area/clothes drier. There is rear access to the outhouse which contains coal and wood. There are night stores downstairs and electric panel heaters upstairs. There is free WiFi from Wagtail Cottage next door.

Fenham le Moor is a working farm close to the shore of the Lindisfarne Nature Reserve. Wagtail and Teal Cottages (4*) are comfortably furnished to accommodate 5 people. The Lookout (3*) is an open plan studio that sleeps 2 and is situated right on the shore. This is an ideal spot for keen birdwatchers who can use the bird hide to watch the wading birds and see the Brent Geese that come and winter over here. We are close to Northumberland's magnificent coastline and castles whilst only a few miles west you reach the foothills of the Cheviot Hills and Border country.
