About Tim Paterson
We live in London with our Spaniel. We both work but enjoy the seaside and sailing.
Tim Paterson purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Tim Paterson chose Whitstable
I love what Whitstable has to offer, the working harbour, beach walks and general love of the sea, sound of the Gulls. That you can switch off, as soon as you drive over the hill into Whitstable and see the sea in the distance! My wife, dogs and I thrive on soaking it all up!
What makes this Apartment unique
Mutleys hut at the end go the garden offers a great space to work or read or just chill. It has Wifi and seating which can be used on the deck in front.

Gorgeous little flat I. Great location
Lovely hosts have gone out of their way to make this a home from home. Super peaceful but nice and close to the centre of town. Time was super hopeful when we had a bit of a problem with the door and everything was resolved really quickly. Will definitely be back in the future. Would love to enjoy the garden and Mutleys hit in summertime. Thank you!!
Lovely peaceful weekend away, in a beautiful cottage
We had a really nice weekend away. The cottage was lovely and exactly as described/shown in posting. So quiet and peaceful, would definitely stay here again and recommend.
Perfect accommodation for a seaside getaway..
The location of the apartment is excellent. The property is well maintained and beautifully decorated, has a lovely comfy bed, bed linen and towels are high quality. It has everything you need including a secluded garden, summer house and bbq. There are tennis courts a 2 min walk away as is the beach. There are some good cycle routes from Whitstable to Canterbury and coastal route to Birchington. 10a West Cliff is a great place to explore from and you can leave the car behind with good walking/cycling and public transport.
Lovely house, good location, great garden facilities, only slight moan is the front and back doors are difficult to unlock and lock, haha, but apart from that can't fault it at all, has everything you could possibly need, home from home.
Beautifully decorated and clean. Deserves 5 stars!
We were most impressed with every aspect of this beautifully decorated and appointed holiday home. The towels and sheets were of exceptional quality and we had every facility to hand. Sadly we could only stay for two nights but we will certainly recommend our friends, and we will return. Thanks go to Tim and Tara for everything including the goodies on our arrival. Parking only proved difficult on one occasion.
High quality, quiet though central apartment in attractive Whitstable.
This apartment (lower half of a house) is very central and yet very quiet. It is beautifully furnished, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The owners left us wine and nibbles, which was most welcome, and it was especially nice to find tea, coffee, milk, and many other condiments in the kitchen which was particularly useful. All fitments in the flat were of a high quality, and it was also spotlessly clean. We found parking each day in the street in front. Whitstable is charming, with lots of seafood restaurants and many individual shops, and a wonderful beach front.
Coast/Beach: The shingle beach is a 7 minute walk from the apartment. It is open to dogs all year round and perfect for families to spend the day. Travel: Whitstable Railway station is a 10 minute walk, or 2 minutes in a cab. The journey is 90 minutes from London Victoria. Whitstable is 35 minutes from the M25/M2 junction on a normal day. Distances: The high street is a 2 minute walk. Further Details: The Old High Street has great shopping with unique Local Shops, Café's and Bars and just around the corner is the working harbour where you can enjoy the catch of the day or simply watch the activities going on. Whitstable is like no other town by the sea. Its traditional charms, strong arts culture and rich maritime history complement the town's modern appeal. It's main claim to fame is its oysters which remain an intrinsic part of this sea town's character.
