1 double en-suite bedroom with a king size bed and 1 twin bedroom. Principle bathroom with a shower and a bath. Large kitchen and lounge dining room. Integral garage and off road parking space. Large enclosed garden to rear and garden to front.

The house is situated in a quiet cul de sac near to the bus stop and a 10 minute walk into the town centre where there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants.

The house is strictly non-smoking.

Outside: At the front of the house there is a garden. At the back is an enclosed garden some laid to flower bed and gravel. There are 2 flagged patio areas each with a table and chairs. Outside lighting is available. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The bed linen and towels are included. The property is cleaned after each guest stay. Cleaning is available mid stay for longer holidays if required. Other: There is a hallway with cupboard for coats and entrance porch with shelving for books and games etc

The property was very nice, comfortable and homely. The property was well equipped.

It was my first anniversary with my girlfriend. The home was very comfortable and came well equipped with everything we needed. The signs around the house was very helpful and was easy to follow. The house was in a very suitable location as it was only a 10 min walk to the town. The furniture such as the bed and couch was very comfortable and to our liking. There were many things to do in and around the property so we was never bored which happened a lot as we was snowed in. The property is very pretty and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that was thinking about staying there. We will definitely be returning to this property in the summer.

Dog friendly but NOT dog secure

The property was fine overall but our main gripe is with the description of the property as dog friendly and having an 'enclosed garden' suggesting it was secure - it was not. The garden boundary walls and fences were not secure for small dogs which meant that we spent the first hour of our time at the cottage working our way around the garden perimeter blocking several holes and gaps. One thing we couldn't do was make the back wall more secure - it was about 3ft tall and therefore not high enough to contain a lively Yorkshire terrier which meant that we had to constantly watch her and call her away from the back wall which was not what we 'ordered' or expected to have to do - not very relaxing. The garden is enclosed but it was not secure and that should be stated in the description.

Otherwise the property was warm and spacious and in a good location central to most of the attractions in the Lakes. The garden furniture was basic and the garden (and the fences) had obviously not been maintained for a very long time. If they were it would make the property much more attractive and we'd consider returning.

Great property with everything we required.

The property was in a great position for touring the Lake District. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a most comfortable stay. On our next trip to the Lakes we would certainly look to book this property again.

Lovely Property in quiet residential area

A super, well equipped and very comfortable property. The location was good for walking/exploring this part of the Lake District especially as the bus stop was just around the corner. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for most of the week.
