Notes on accommodation: During the peak season the area out the front of the property is drop off only however parking permits are available on request, on a day rate or at £27 for the week which also includes access to all council car parks in North Devon. Outside: Sizable balcony with patio table Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are included Other: The balcony is a room on its own which boasts the breath taking view of the Bristol channel and Capstone. On a windy day you can feel the sea spray on your face. The balcony includes a 6 seater patio table.

Property beautifully presented, with great views!

We had a brilliant weekend attending my nieces wedding at the tunnels.

The apartment was perfect and would definitely recommend it.

The only drawback was the parking, but the views certainly made up for that!!

Nice view

The view from the apartment is stunning, but there were a lot of negative things. There is no ventilation in the second bathroom, so it steams up quickly. The ensuite is VERY small. The cupboard where the pots are looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was no cafetiere in the cupboard and even though we emailed the owner and she said she depended on the local cleaner to report such things, none arrived. I feel that the local cleaner could have brought one to the apartment. The whole apartment is very stuffy with poor ventilation. There are no bedside tables or lamps and we had to use a torch to see our way to bed. I would not stay here again.

Owner's Response: I am saddened and hugely disappointed to hear that your stay was not up to standard. We pride ourselves on a home from home stay. Unfortunately being an apartment you are always going to have an internal room with no windows, that said the main bathroom and the en-suite both have working extractor fans, whilst will not completely eradicate the steam it will help. The switches are on the walls above the wall lights. The building itself is Victorian with beautiful 3m sash windows, every window in every bedroom can be opened, as well as the balcony door. providing ventilation throughout. I have recently been made aware about the cleanliness of the kitchen cupboards and i am horrified of this and will be rectified, my housekeeper has been made aware. Following your notification of the missing cafetiere a replacement was ordered but being a 4 day booking did not arrive in time for you to sadly enjoy. my sincere apologises again that it didn't meet your expectations.

beautiful view; close to activities in Ilfracombe;

Beautiful view from shoreline location. Large space (3 BR/2BA), with washer/dryer, dishwasher, full sized refrigerator/freezer. Convenient to activities in Ilfracombe. We also visited Port Isaac and Exmoor National Park while staying here.

Fantastic apartment with great views.

Sarah's apartment was in a great location with amazing views over the water. It was well set up for our holiday with 4 adults and a baby. Checking in and out was very straight forward and Sarah was quick to respond to any queries we had. I am looking forward to returning for another holiday.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was perfect for our holiday, my Daughter has an illness which means she is quite immobile, so her bedroom with a sea view was perfect. We did struggle with being able to park the car at the apartment just to pick her up, we often had to block off the whole road to get her into the car, as all the drop off parking spaces seemed to be constantly taken. Overall it was a great place to relax and the owner was very helpful indeed.
