The Lookout is a stylish and well presented modern, three-story town-house, superbly positioned on a hillside, commanding panoramic views over St. Ives Bay. It has been constructed to take maximum advantage of the views of St Ives harbour, and across the Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and the North Cornish cliffs beyond. Internally, the property has a light, airy, contemporary feel. It offers well-appointed and spacious, flexible accommodation arranged over three floors comprising in brief: large reception hallway; cloakroom; ground floor bedroom with en-suite shower room; kitchen/dining room enjoying fine sea and coastal views through French doors leading to the garden area. The first floor comprises landing, three further bedrooms and a bathroom, on the second floor there is a splendid triple-aspect lounge with views of both the harbour and island and French doors. Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the property.
We live in Shropshire, we have 2 grown up children, one studying at University.
NEIL AND PATRICIA BATES purchased this house in 2006
We have always loved our holidays in St Ives, we used to go there every year when we first met. After we had the children we continued to take them too.
We bought The Lookout in 2006 and have since had many happy holidays there with friends and family.
Being elevated, The Lookout has great views of the bay and harbour AND 3 parking spaces!! Very rare in St Ives.
The Belyars is a lovely, quiet area of St Ives and yet just a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the town, the pubs and restaurants and wonderful beaches.
At the end of a hard day at the beach, The Lookout offers the opportunity to enjoy a quiet glass of wine and BBQ whilst enjoying the view of the bay.
In the mornings enjoy a coffee in the sun on the balcony.
If you are competitive the table football game in the lounge is a must!
"We all thought the property was lovely, great views, lovely garden area, lots of space. We all had a great time and would definitely return.
The house, its location and, in particular having a parking space are great.
Accommodation brilliant and to a very high standard. Lovely property with fantastic views. Garden really nice with decking.

Family of 6 rented this house in October. It's a great place with everything you need , plenty of space for the kids, comfy beds, 3 bathrooms and a great living room on the top floor compete with table football. The outdoor sitting areas were lovely and would be a bonus in summer but unfortunately the temperature dropped in the evening meaning it went unused . Plenty of parking which is a huge bonus in St Ives, especially with a large car. The house is in a wonderful location. 5 mins to the beach or town at strolling place although it takes a little longer to get home up the hill . On a rainy day it was also only a 5min walk to the leisure centre. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, were very responsive and there were no issues with returning our damage deposit. We tend to go back to St Ives every couple of years and The Lookout will be the place I book in future
