Apartment in Rock, Cornwall, England - 15 Minutes To Nearest Beach

The apartment is situated on Rock Road and is one of five in a large property set back from the road with parking and communal grounds. It has lovely country views towards St Enedoc golf course. It is modern and stylish with a fully fitted kitchen, breakfast area and separate dining area in open plan living space. One bedroom but living room has sofa beds for flexibility and plenty of storage for linen. Internet access. It is close to good range of local shops, beaches, sailing school and access to passenger ferry to lively Padstow. Lovely coastal walks and fine dining in the area (Nathan Outlaw & Rick Stein). Bryher can be booked with Hollyhocks (sleeps 7) reference E9673 for larger parties. About Wendy Head

We are Mark, Wendy & Ellie and we live on Dartmoor in Devon with our hens, ducks and cats. We owned holiday cottages in a nearby village for 12 years, then took a break to bring up our daughter. We had the opportunity to purchase property in Rock, Cornwall which have been successful as holiday rentals. We have now converted the barn which was the site of the original Manor House before it burnt down. It has a 'home from home' feel which is important so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. We have added things we have collected over the years to make it feel homely for our guests. If you wish to plan a two centre holiday we aim to provide short breaks at both location except in high season.

We are nearby if needed but Cowshed has a private garden giving full seclusion for relaxation.

We had the opportunity to purchase Bryher which gives us the flexibility to use it ourselves when Hollyhocks is booked and to make it available to larger groups as it is so close. It provides an excellent base for smaller families or couples seeking a romantic break, for those who like us, love the sandy beaches, lovely walks and Padstow's foodie establishments and shops.

What makes this apartment unique

Bryher is situated near to good local shops, deli, butcher, bakery, Spar, Fish & Chips and boutiques. It is situated within walking distance of sandy beaches, Camel Sailing & Waterski school, and stunning coastal walks. Porthilly beach is 15 minute walk, Rock, 20 minutes. There is kite/windsurfing at Daymer Bay 1.5 miles by car, by foot at low tide. Surfing lessons at Polzeath, 2 miles, Coastguard patrolled, very shallow for a long way for children with rock pools, more boutiques and cafes, restaurants. We are happy to offer short breaks in low and mid seasons, please enquire.

A late booking with which we were more than happy. The flat had everything - including recently updated fast and free broadband. It's very accessible to all that North Cornwall has to offer, allowing us to walk along memory lane - as well as the challenging coastal paths - and to enjoy excellent eating at Paul Ainsworth in Padstow and Nathan Outlaw's freshly starred Fish Kitchen in Port Isaac. Perfect Bryer in Rock

The Apartment was very nice, equipped with all what you need for a week and it was near to Padstow - a lovely town - and a wonderful Trail for cycling to Bodmin. We made it twice..........

Lovely apartment in a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bryher. The apartment was so well equipped - it had everything to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for the two of us with our baby boy. The owners were most helpful and accommodating. The location is great as there are cafes, shops, a deli, bakery and fish monger just round the corner and its walking distance to the nice restaurants of Rock, the beach and to the ferry/water taxi just over to Padstow. We also enjoyed walking in the local area. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely apartment in Rock

The apartment is really well furnished and was very clean and airy. It was always a pleasure to get back to after a long day out. Very close to shops and pub but too far to walk to the beach every day.

Good value stylish accommodation

This accommodation was stylish, tidy, well maintained and had everything you need as a couple visiting the area on a short break. The owner is incredibly helpful providing information on all aspects of your visit including comprehensive clear info on how to operate everything within the apartment. The Pityme pub a short walk up the road serves pretty good food as well if you don't fancy the longer walk down to the restaurants of Rock.

Rock is less than a mile, local shops accessed by foot in minutes, good range including deli, bakery, butchers, local supermarket, fish & chips and boutiques. A little further on is a Post Office & Newsagent and restaurants including Nathan Outlaw. Wadebridge offers more local shops, banks, bike hire, galleries and gift shops plus a cinema. There is a Tesco, Coop and Lidl stores, deliveries can be made using Sainsburys and Asda at Bodmin! Cashpoint at Texaco petrol station 0.5 mile. Pubs 1 mile.

Further Details:

Padstow is a passenger ferry ride away, which runs day and night to give access to Camel trail & bike hire, lovely shops and restaurants (Rick Stein). Visit Port Isaac, 6 miles of Doc Martin fame, with fish restaurants- Nathan Outlaw, pubs, gift shops and galleries.
