Torquay is where I was born and despite being well travelled I would not chose to live anywhere else. My house is situated in the affluent area of Ilsham Marine Drive. A beautiful valley and wooded area leads to the seafront and beach facilities, all within a 10 minute walk. In the opposite direction the village of Wellswood can be found, which offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, beauty salons, hairdressers and a Pub, within a 5-10 minute walk. So more people can enjoy the benefits of this stunning location.

The property is within 2 miles of a local train station. Exeter airport is approximately 25 miles away and Bristol airport is 90 miles away. Local shops are a 5 minute walk, whilst the centre of Torquay town is approximately 2 miles. For those wanting to expand on their shopping experience the historic City of Exeter is 22 miles away. Approximately 30 miles to the west, The city of Plymouth, which is the largest of Devon's cities, can be found. It has a maritime history of great importance and is also the home to the National Marine Aquarium. Dartmoor National Park which is full of legends, folklore and wild ponies can be reached by 30-40 minutes car drive.

The location of this property speaks volumes. It is nestled in a leafy, quiet, up market suburb of Torquay, widely referred to as 'millionaire's row'. There is so much to do within the surrounding area and local town, guests will not have to travel far and wide on a daily basis to find entertainment. The apartment is clean, modern and luxurious and would suit a family or small group perfectly. We have a complete sky package installed and have recently purchased the latest 'Xbox' games console for guests to use. There is also a family membership available for the 5* Imperial Hotel Gym and Spa, which is nearby.

Lovely family stay at Magnolias Annex
As a family of four with two younger children Magnolias Annex was the perfect getaway for us. It had all that we needed and the proximity to the beach was perfect for us. The master bedroom was of a good size with large tv. We had a few sunny days and sat outside with a bbq which was very private and we felt safe letting the kids wander in and out. The annex in fact is a house of a good size and perfect for a family of four, or even six. There are beautiful views on a sunny day down to the beach, which we particularly appreciated being from central London. All in all a great family stay for us all. We will be back next year, thank you.
Wonderful place for a short break
This annex (actually a full house in its own right) is an amazingly appointed and spacious base for a short break in the English Riviera. We were lucky enough to happen upon this property at short notice and we're given a great deal on the advertised price. Everything that we needed was right there, meaning we had a lovely relaxing break away from it all - and our two young ones were more than happy too with enough technology to keep them occupied during evening 'down-time'.
Booking was a delight, and any questions were answered quickly via a friendly text with Amy.

Uns erwartete ein Haus mit viel Komfort in einer fantastischen Lage.
Wir haben die Zeit dort bei schönem Wetter sehr genossen und wollen diese Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen (die Haustür und das Tor waren eine Herausforderung ^^ )
Coast/Beach: The nearest 2 beaches called Meadfoot and Ansteys Cove are a 5 - 10 minute walk. Torbay boasts of multiple beaches all catering to different needs and requirements, such as sandy, shingle, pebbles, commercialised or private hide aways.

Booking Notes: We request a 30% booking deposit to be paid to secure your booking. The final installment is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival in addition to a house keeping deposit of £200. The house keeping deposit is refunded within 14 days of your departure date subject to any damages. Changeover Day: Check in time is 3pm and departure time by 10am. Our preferred change over day is Saturday but we can be flexible.
