Breakaway Lodge is a delightful self-catering holiday chalet situated within the popular St Ives Holiday Village and the perfect place to ‘break away’ from it all! Walk in the peaceful 100 acre woodland, use the on-site heated swimming pool or jump in the car for easy access to the many delights of Cornwall. Whether in the height of the busy summer holidays, or out of season and requiring a peaceful retreat as a base for walking, bird-watching and the like - Breakaway lodge is perfectly located just 3 miles from the historic and picturesque fishing village of St Ives, many stunning beaches, and local tourist attractions such as Land’s End, Flambards, The Eden Project and The Minack Theatre.

The property is a purpose built end of terrace stone cottage with an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area furnished with comfortable sofas, wall-mounted LCD TV with DVD, dining area for 4 and all the mod-cons and kitchen extras expected for the comfort of all guests.

Both bedrooms and family bathroom have also been refitted with brand new contemporary fittings, furnishings and linen throughout.

uPVC double glazed windows with French Patio doors opening to the front aspect and woodland canopy.

Within the tranquil setting, guests have access to the entire 100 acre woodland park including the Woodland Nature Trail to enjoy the wildlife and stunning scenery, suitable for both children and adults alike. Family entertainment is available for a small fee at the main clubhouse, with indoor heated pool, bar with free Wi-fi, restaurant, games and many additional facilities suitable for the entire family to relax, unwind and enjoy.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR : The property will be festively decorated ahead of this booking period and an extra-special Christmas Welcome box with local produce will be provided!

Great little chalet, has everything you need, perfect base for exploring

Everything we needed was provided, bedrooms are small, but fitted well. Nice arrival treats provided. Chalet was very clean, tidy and a great location within the park. The woodlands are lovely to walk around and explore, and it’s a perfect place for exploring St Ives and surrounds!

A peaceful getaway

A well maintained small but clean cottage. This is so much better than staying in a small hotel room . Definitely worth the 50£ per night. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. Food in the front reception is a rip off, but the information booklet Jules left in our cottage had all the information we needed for eating out. The kitchen is well equipped too. The only tiny discomfort we had was that the bed was small for us. We felt it was smaller in width and length than a standard double bed .

Fantastic lodge in great location

We had a lovely holiday at Breakaway Lodge, the lodge was very well equipped, it had everything you needed and more. The lodge is in a great location to explore local areas. The communication with Jules was fantastic and Jules was very good and re- arranged our stay due to a family emergency. I would highly recommend and i hope to visit again in the future.

Superb! Great accommodation, very cosy with everything you would find in your own home! Nestled in the woods, we loved seeing all the wildlife right outside our doors. Owners thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Great location for sightseeing and the site staff were friendly and helpful.

Jules and Tom have lived in St Ives for 8 years (originally from Penzance).

We both work full-time with Tom as an Engineering Manager and Jules an Administration Manager, so our skills are fully utilised in maintaining, managing and running our small business called St Ives Breaks and its' rental property Breakaway Lodge.

We feel as 'local' owners and managers that we can provide a more personal service to all our guests and visitors.

Our guests are 'our guests' and not just another booking!

As we live in St Ives, with the picturesque surroundings, plenty of beaches, historic places and local culture, we are privileged to have the opportunity to share this stunning peninsula of West Cornwall with our guests.

We chose a property within the established John Fowler St Ives Holiday Village as the infrastructure allows guests to enjoy all the well-planned facilities during the season, or as a complete break away during the more peaceful and tranquil winter months.

What makes this chalet unique

The location of St Ives Holiday Village allows easy access to plenty of beaches, coastal walks, St Ives town centre and harbour and many local well-known visitor attractions.

The property is self-catering whilst having many restaurant options within easy walking or driving distance.

Guests can choose to utilise the facilities the park offers (additional small fee) including clubhouse, swimming pool and children's events or simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the stunning local scenery and woodlands.

During the main holiday park season (Late April until Early September) there is a public transport bus service to/from the park, St Ives and the local area.
