Great location and space for a family
We had a great 2 nights in Rosary Cottage. It was perfectly situated with a gorgeous exterior. Inside, there was space for all 5 of us and a washer/dryer which was great for a long trip. Perfect place for a family.
Our family of 5 stayed here and had plenty of space. Extra bathrooms were nice. The washer/dryer was a plus, allowed us to pack a little lighter. Highly recommend!
Nice community for dining and walking.
Cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean, next door to a fabulous pub with open fire and close to all amenities and local attractions. We've stayed here twice now and will no doubt be back again next year. Paul is very prompt with communication. Highly recommend!
A beautiful cottage in the heart of the village. It was like living in a piece of history.
We had a lovely stay in this wonderful cottage. It was quirky, not many level floors. The kitchen became the main hub for us as it was large and easy for everyone to congregate in. With six adults and two babes in arms there was still plenty of space for us all. The village had some lovely shops and the Christmas Fayre was a treat.
Our Home away from Home
They always say location, location, location! Well this property is perfectly located in the Cotswolds. We stayed for 5 weeks and had a wonderful time. Everything is so close. Filet and Bones is across the street for your fresh produce and meats. We only went out to dinner three times during our stay. I would recommend Eight Bells in town and Churchill Arms in Paxford.
Your are just a short drive away from all the surrounding villages. Some of my favorites were Bourton on the Water, the Venice of the Cotswolds. Burford and Broadway. We even took advantage of learning how to make Chocolate Truffles in a Chocolate Class in Glos, Worcestershire, so much fun. Paul, our landlord had the cottage cleaned every week by Lil and we were totally spoiled. I would highly recommend your booking this property, it has everything you could ever want. The beds are so comfortable and the modern stove is wonderful. We would have liked to stay longer, but had to get back for our holidays.
Enjoyable stay in the middle of town!
We had a lovely time in Rosary Cottage. This cottage is located in the middle of town, so we were able to walk right out the door and find shops (convenience store open till 10 right across the street) and restaurants (great meal at Eight Bells, be sure to get reservation). We also enjoyed evening strolls when the town quieted down at night. The house is very comfortable. Good beds, a well equipped kitchen, and cozy areas for relaxing in the evenings. We just loved the experience of staying in a true Cotswold cottage! We definitely recommend Rosary Cottage, and hope to return one day!
