About Alison Marsland
We are husband and wife with 2 teenage daughters who live in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, England. After many years of wonderful family holidays on the Boavista, we have realised our dream of owning our own property on the resort. We feel that this is one of the prime apartments, both by way of location and facilities.

We feel that the location has so much to offer - 5 minutes by car to the buzzing town of Lagos with it's cosmopolitan marina or the relaxing seafront villages of Luz and Burgau. All have a host of excellent restaurants, shops and beaches. On the resort is the championship golf course, driving range, chipping and putting greens, tennis courts, children's play area, 5 a side football pitch, indoor gym, pool and spa, clubhouse and restaurant . Spa and Gym membership is included for our guests. Adjacent to the apartment is a spacious sun terrace and 25 metre heated (April to October) pool

Very quiet and private position, whilst in short walking distance to all resort amenities. The apartment has been well cared for and is furnished and equipped to a high standard including a travel cot and high chair (if required), a safe, air conditioning and heating is also available for your use.

What a gem!
Our 2nd wonderful holiday in this lovely apartment. It is spotless, really well equipped, brilliantly located with lovely views over the 16th fairway. The swimming pool is huge and never feels crowded, the sun loungers are spaced well apart so you are never too close to anyone else. The pool kiosk sells drinks, ice creams and crisps but you never quite know when it's open - not a problem. There's a large choice of beaches within 10 mins drive, Aqualand water park is 30 mins away, and loads of restaurants.
This year's highlights were the Dolphin watching trip and discovering new beaches (although we kept going back to our favourite) and restaurants. Can't wait to come back next year and explore more.
We went with children aged 12 and 6 and there's plenty to keep everyone happy. Do not hesitate in booking this property - it's wonderful and the owners are a delight to deal with.
Fantastic Apartment, great location
We had the pleasure of staying in this apartment in July 2018. I can’t speak highly enough of the apartment and it’s owners. The booking process was seamless, the check in out of hours was great and the apartment itself is fantastic. It’s modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. The shared pool is huge and not overcrowded at all. You are 5 minutes drive to Lagos and 8 minutes to Luz. I would have no hesitation on recommend this accommodation to anyone.
Excellent property with beautiful view
We have used this apartment for the last 7 years, and already have plans for a stay in 2019. The apartment overlooks the 16th fairway and beyond. The apartment is very clean, well maintained and equipped with everything you might need.
The pool is 2 minutes away and again is clean and well maintained. The spa, Gym and clubhouse is a 10 minute walk and the facilities are top rate as would be expected. The clubhouse food is reasonably priced, good quality with friendly staff.
A car is a must to gain access to the beaches all along the coast, and for sightseeing inland, not forgetting the numerous golf courses within 30 minutes of Lagos.
We have found Peter and Alison very easy to deal with and we will continue to recommend this apartment to friends.
Great apartment in a great location
This was our second visit as we enjoyed our stay so much the first time. The apartment has everything you would want, spacious and relaxing. The balconies mean you get the sun throughout the day. We love the outside pool but the Spa pool and gym are an added bonus. We'll be booking again!
Absolutely stunning property, perfect all year!
Perfect location, plenty of great walks. Beautiful golf course and backs right into the 16th green. I have highly recommended to all friends and family!
Xmas & New Year Visit
This was our second visit to the apartment and it was just as good as the first time. The apartment is so comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is everything to hand that you would have in your own home. Both balconies are furnished with comfortable seating to watch the golfers come on to 16th green..
The Spa and Gym on site is extremely good, the golf club and restaurant are excellent with wonderful staff.
I would recommend the apartment with no hesitation what so ever.
There are many wonderful beaches all within 2kms of the apartment, by car the journey would take about 5 mins.
Faro airport is approx 45 mins drive along the new A22 motorway. Car hire is highly recommended to make your stay even more enjoyable!
The apartment is situated 2km from both the beach resort of Praia da Luz and the town of Lagos and many beaches and marina.
The apartment is in close proximity of the local supermarkets, Finibanco, Santander, Bank of Totta and many restaurants and bars to make your stay even more comfortable.
Booking Notes: A 20% deposit paid on booking and full payment must be paid 6 weeks prior to departure,with a security deposit of £200, this is to cover the cost of any damage, breakage or theft.This deposit will be fully refunded 10 days after your departure, provided our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the apartment. The number of persons using the apartment must not exceed four. We (the owner) cannot be held responsible for any personnel injury,loss or damage sustained during stay. Changeover Day: Tenancy usually commence at 4pm unless otherwise agreed and guests are required to vacate the apartment by 10.am on day of departure.This allows the apartment to be cleaned for incoming guests. Notes on prices: Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Please contact the owners for prices on stays less than 7 nights.
