This luxury air-conditioned double bedroom apartment is ideally situated on the Boavista golf complex on the outskirts of Lagos approx. 5 minutes drive into the town. The apartment hosts panoramic views of the golf course and Lagos. The swimming pool is private and are used by the surrounding apartments and have changing and shower facilities, refreshment bar and lifeguard. Boavista boasts many features, such as the golf complex the bar and restaurant all of which can be utilised by guests of the apartment at reduced rates. Our apartment allows free access to health spa & gym situated at the Club House.

About Alison Marsland

We are husband and wife with 2 teenage daughters who live in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, England. After many years of wonderful family holidays on the Boavista, we have realised our dream of owning our own property on the resort. We feel that this is one of the prime apartments, both by way of location and facilities.

Why Alison Marsland chose Atalaia

We feel that the location has so much to offer - 5 minutes by car to the buzzing town of Lagos with it's cosmopolitan marina or the relaxing seafront villages of Luz and Burgau. All have a host of excellent restaurants, shops and beaches.

On the resort is the championship golf course, driving range, chipping and putting greens, tennis courts, children's play area, 5 a side football pitch, indoor gym, pool and spa, clubhouse and restaurant (discounted rates for guests)

Adjacent to the apartment is a spacious sun terrace and 25 metre heated (April to October) pool

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has unrivalled panoramic views over the 16th fairway, Lagos and Meia Praia beach. It benefits from the full days sun on either of the 2 balconies. Very quiet and private position, whilst in short walking distance to all resort amenities.

The apartment boasts unlimited wifi, 3 flat screen TV's with 25 channels including sky sports, movies and BBC. The apartment has been well cared for and is furnished and equipped to a high standard including a travel cot and high chair (if required), a safe, air conditioning and heating is also available for your use.

Outside: The apartment has balconies to the front and rear with table, chairs and sun loungers. Both balconies are sun facing throughout the day. Xmas & New Year Visit

This was our second visit to the apartment and it was just as good as the first time. The apartment is so comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is everything to hand that you would have in your own home. Both balconies are furnished with comfortable seating to watch the golfers come on to 16th green..

The Spa and Gym on site is extremely good, the golf club and restaurant are excellent with wonderful staff.

I would recommend the apartment with no hesitation what so ever.

Fantastic apartment with great views

Apartment was spotless on arrival and we had no issues whilst there. Everything you needed for a great holiday had been thought of! The resort itself is perfect for golfers and non golfers alike. Pool area was clean and gardens well tendered. Would not hesitate to go back.

Fab apartment. Home from home. All things thought of. Excellent position on the resort with sun throughout the day and a stones throw from the pool. Welcome pack very much appreciated as we arrived late. Great position for Praia Du Luz and Lagos all of which have lovely restaurants and shops. A great part of the Algarve. A car is a must.

Excellent. Just as described.

This property listing is very accurate. The owners seem to have thought of everything and the kitchen is well equipped. The property is clean and well maintained and we would choose to return again.

A car to explore the beautiful, local beaches and surrounding area is a "must" in our opinion but the owner recommended a hire company and we found them to be efficient and competitive and the pick up and drop off were straightforward.

The owner always responds to any questions in a prompt and courteous manner.

We spent most evenings

In Lagos where we enjoyed the local entertainment with a wide range of shops and restaurants to explore.

Beautiful, Spacious & Well Equipped Apartment.

We Found the Apartment to be Spacious, Well Equipped and in a great position upon a very well maintained complex. Car Hire is obviously needed for both your Transfer & to explore the Algarve. Boavista Golf Resort has excellent facilities, A very nice and welcoming Clubhouse. The Pool Area is very relaxing and has a Large pool and plenty of Sun-Loungers that are spaced out nicely for privacy (unlike Hotels) There are Numerous Local Beaches that are excellent, Parking Wasn't an issue and the Beaches really are Beautiful.

Overall we found the apartment & Resort excellent and would appeal to Families, Couples of All Ages. Lagos itself is very Nice, Loads of great Restaurants, the Marina is Very Nice and as already mentioned the Local Beaches (and one's further a field) are excellent. We would definitely return and Peter/Alison were a pleasure to deal with.

There are many wonderful beaches all within 2kms of the apartment, by car the journey would take about 5 mins.


Faro airport is approx 45 mins drive along the new A22 motorway. Car hire is highly recommended to make your stay even more enjoyable!


The apartment is situated 2km from both the beach resort of Praia da Luz and the town of Lagos and many beaches and marina.

Further Details:

The apartment is in close proximity of the local supermarkets, Finibanco, Santander, Bank of Totta and many restaurants and bars to make your stay even more comfortable.

The number of persons using the apartment must not exceed four. We (the owner) cannot be held responsible for any personnel injury,loss or damage sustained during stay.

Changeover Day:
Tenancy usually commence at 4pm unless otherwise agreed and guests are required to vacate the apartment by on day of departure.This allows the apartment to be cleaned for incoming guests.
