Perfect weekend retreat
Lovely cottage on a smallholding. Felt very welcomed by Gwen who was very helpful. Cottage was well equipped and spotless. Lovely selection of books and games and DVDs to use. Nice farm walks round the lakes and you really can walk into town in around 20 mins, uphill on the way back though! Had nice Sunday lunch in the Salvage Bar (used to be the Monkstone) which allowed dogs in the bar. Also nice lunch in the Bay Tree in Tenby.
Lovely childrens play area for younger kids, our teens quite happy with just the wiifi. A lovely weekend in a lovely cottage with lovely owners. One to return to. Thanks Gwen x
Great views, fantastic welcome
The welcome received by all the family was more than expected. The cottage is very spacious, very well presented and homely. My daughter felt at home with the chickens, sheep and was extremely excited to be included in the farm activities.
The food that is available for your evening meal from the owners, can be pre- ordered and delivered to your door is restaurant quality, fish first night and steak on another. Did not disappoint!
If we can get another weekend in this year we will!
wonderful cottage and fantastic hosts
Received the warmest of welcomes from the Neville family. The cottage was equipped with everything and spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable bed. Even coffee , tea, milk, wash up liquid and shower gels was provided and Welsh cakes were delicious. The views from the cottage were stunning.Rob's meals was fantastic, do try them.The. beach and centre of Saundersfoot is walking distance but if you have a disabled member of your party be aware you would need to use your car due to steep hill leading back to the cottage. The lambs and Maisie the dog provided us with some real laughs with their antics. The beach hut has everything for children to play with and lots of DVD's etc for adults. To sum up we had a brilliant week at Meadowsweet, even the weather was kind. Thank you to all the Neville family who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful during our stay.
