Superb rural location with all amenities

The property was ideal for our family, who all descended on us at some point during our two week stay. There was plenty of room in the house, which was very well equipped and very clean.

Outside the garden lent itself to lazy family meals and barbecues, the pool was superb and was never crowded, no matter how many were in it!

Our host Philippe was extremely helpful and accommodating, as were his parents, who live next door. We were even given a cake by Mme Delcombel for the journey home. Delicious and a lovely thought.

We really didn't want to leave and the family agreed with us that this was one of the best properties we have used in France.

There was plenty to do in the area, although we mostly chose to stay in the vicinity of the pool or visit a local market.

We would heartily recommend this property to anyone who enjoys rural France and "the good life".

A relaxing holiday with a pool

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The pool was fantastic we all swam everyday. The temperature of the pool was great and cleaned regularly by the robot. The proximity to Limoge was great - our teenagers joined and left us during the holiday so access to the airport was brilliant. The property is very well equipped. We would definitely return.

One of the best holiday homes we have stayed at. The house is perfect in every way. Wonderful area to stay, with beautiful scenery and a tranquil atmosphere. The host and his family couldn't have done anymore to make us welcome. We will be back again..

Lovely rural area and close to plenty of lakes

Beautiful rural location, not far to travel from Limoges airport. Everything you need at this place, excellent kitchen and bedrooms etc., We had a lovely week, but I would add that you do not have this property entirely to yourselves. If you don't mind sharing with the owners family then that's ok. You do however have your own part of the house. Thanks Philippe for a nice week in a lovely location.

Great holiday

My family (2 adults and 3 children, aged 9, 8 and 3) spent a week in Philippe's house and had a wonderful time. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. The garden was lovely, with lots of games equipment that the children enjoyed (in particular the table tennis). The swimming pool is a good size and provided hours of fun every day. It can be fully secured shut, which is reassuring for parents with young children, and is heated so can be used for a quick dip even if the weather is not super-hot. The outdoor bbq is a great facility; we used it to cook up a birthday feast for our son

and had a lovely evening eating outside.

We would highly recommend the Lac de St Pardoux, which is around 10 minutes drive from the house. The water-skiing and tree top adventures were very reasonably priced and a lot of fun - happy holiday memories.

Philippe and his parents were very welcoming, and Philippe was very efficient, open and reasonable throughout the booking process and our stay. Thanks for a great holiday.
