We love Montenegro, both its physical beauty and the warmth and hospitality of its people. We have invested a lot of time and effort to ensuring Palmagora fits in with the locality. We built in stone, and have tried to continue the natural theme on the inside. The kitchens are wood, with granite work tops, the floors are tiled and we have used natural materials wherever possible. We have tried to combine the old with the new, in terms of modern cookers, fridge/freezers, air-con, without detracting from the local beauty. We have done everything we can to help you enjoy your stay with us.

If you want a peaceful location in a beautiful situation but to be within a short drive of Tivat and Kotor then this is the place for you.Tivat is the home of the super yacht marina Porto Montenegro, whilst Kotor is a UNESCO world heritage site walled town. Both have a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Kotor hosts a variety of festivals over the year including music and dance, all worth a visit.
There are a wealth of activities in the area- walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, sightseeing or just relaxing on the beach. The new water park opened near Budva is a great place for the whole family.
All apartments have their own private balcony or terrace if you want privacy, or you can sit on the communal terrace overlooking the pool, chatting to other guests.

Review title: Paradise
Spent 2 weeks at the gorgeous Palma Gora residence. If you want home away from home, with breathtaking views every morning, with sounds of nature and absolutely no noise but a bird call or a rooster .. you will love it. The apartments have all you need, are very spacious and perfect for relaxing. There is a good size pool on the property with plenty of space to enjoy the sun, stretch and take in the beauty of the surrounding mountain views. There is a TV (which we never turned on, as nature too beautiful to waste time on watching TV) for those who want it, aircon, toaster, DVDs .... Beds are quite large, giving you a great night sleep. Milica and Ivan who are taking care of the property are warmest and sweetest people you can meet. Helpful and always there to assist, welcoming you as you drive up towards the property. Owners were very quick and always there to answer any questions in the process of making a booking. Thank you very much Greg :) To sum it all up ... if you are looking for a great place to stay, amazing nature to surround you and wonderful people to deal with ... Palma Gora is your place. Greg, Milica, Ivan .. looking forward to seeing you next summer.

A familiy of Ten of us recently stayed here and we absolutely loved it. It is beautifully placed on the mountain side with tremendous views all round. The managers Ivan and Milica were excellent and really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The houses are really well done and the pool was a huge hit with the kids. I would definitely recommend this place for family holidays however it is rural and you definitely need a car.

Review title: Excellent
We booked 2 apartments for a 2 week stay with our family from the USA and had the most wonderful time. The communications before we arrived and directions to get to the apartment were brilliant and enable our holiday to star off as we wished to continue. We were met by a lovely couple who manage the property onsite, who advised us of everything we needed to know and were there to help if we needed them. The apartments are are perfect for a great vacation. It had all that we needed. It really did feel home from home and we would not hesitate to recommend it or stay there again. The view over the rolling hills was breath taking and the pool fab for cooling down or for the kids to play in. The new super yacht port in Tivat was fab to explore and so was the surrounding areas such as Kotor bay, Lovcen Park, Herci Novi and Budva, all brilliant beaches and interesting towns to discover & Explore. The area around the apartment is great for hill walking and has a fab local resturant which does take out to. Can't wait to go back, thank you for a fab holiday
On booking a 20 % holding deposit is required, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before the date of arrival.

Palma Gora offers beautiful views down towards Tivat, and you are surrounded by lush hills dotted with churches and farmhouses.
We stayed in the Valley apartment, which has a large, private terrace at the back, from which you can gaze over the valley (and spend your evening listening to distant farmers and hunters in the hills).
The apartement was spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped, including a washing machine, dishwasher and satellite TV.
Bogdasici is conveniently located just up the hill from the outskirts of Tivat. If you like hiking, there are trails that lead away from right outside the villa, and others very nearby. There are shops (including several supermarkets) a short drive away. And we'd highly recommend the grill at the bottom of the hill behind the kiosk and shop (but that's between you and me so that we can keep it as a hidden gem).
Tivat itself is a nice place to spend time. There are public (pebbly) beaches, a lovely waterfront, and the glamorous Porto Montenegro with its superyachts and fine restaurants. You are, of course, ideally located for all the stunning sights of the Boka Kotarska.
Tivat airport is just at the bottom of the hill (but it doesn't cause a nuisance, don't worry), so it's perfect if you're lucky enough to be able to fly direct there. If not, Dubrovnik airport is 1-2 hours away, depending on traffic.
Vesna was a welcoming and helpful host and will keep you right with local recommendations.
For animal lovers, next door's cats are very friendly, especially the ginger one.
We had a lovely time here; highly recommended.
My trip was wonderful from start to finish. Prior to our holiday the owners provided us with lots of information on what to do and see, we received a welcome pack via email, which is also in the apartment, but the advantage of having it before we set off meant that we were able to prioritise our trips in advance. All of our questions were answered and useful phrases and numbers were a great help. On arrival we were welcomed by Vesna who showed us around our apartment and again answered all of our questions. Overall I felt very welcomed and looked after, which took away all the stresses of being in a new country.
The apartment itself was clean, tidy and spacious. The bathrooms were modern and pleasant and there were stunning views of the mountains everywhere you looked, whether swimming in the pool, BBQ-ing on the terrace or getting some water out of the fridge, the scenery was breath-taking. The apartments are high up a steep winey road, which was fun to walk up and down once, and there are some beautiful walking trails which are fun to explore, so take your walking shoes. Overall it was peaceful, charming and picturesque, the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.
Location is great, it is a short taxi ride to the airport, we took a taxi to Tivat in the evenings for dinner and Kotor for a day out, both are recommended and the taxis are very cheap.
We had a brilliant stay in one of the Palma Gora villas. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and it makes a perfect base to either explore Montenegro or just chill by the pool. The villas are well equipped, with thoughtful items included like books, and games and the outside communal space and bbq is great, it would be a lovely place to rent with friends. Being rural you do need a car, but with Tivat airport being less than 10 minutes away, and cheap car hire prices this isnt a problem. The information Chris gave us before we arrived was very helpful, with recommendations on restaurants, day trips etc. And waking up to lovely views every morning, and with a refreshing pool for us all to jump into after breakfast was perfect. The only downside was limited wifi although to be honest that just added to the relaxation. Thank you Chris, we will come again!
We had a fantastic week in Montenegro in one of Chris' apartments - the setting was beautiful with great views and the appartment had everything needed for a holiday. We loved the swimming pool and barbecue area and were well looked after by the property manager on location who helped sort wifi issues out (not that one should be working when on holidays). The location is quiet yet with easy access to supermarkets, beaches (we loved the peninsula) and the beautiful towns around the fjord - all around 20-30min drive away. Montenegro is a beautiful place although Budva and the coastal towns can get quite crowded in the summer months -yet there are enough places to explore and to stay away from crowds.
Four of us stayed in the orchard which had everything we needed inside and a great terrace for seeing the beautiful mountain and sea views while eating and relaxing.
The Palmagora villas are positioned perfectly for getting everywhere. 2 minutes from the main costal road, everywhere is an easy drive.
The BBQ terrace is a lovely touch as we spent many nights out on it.
Vesna the lady who looks after you while there is superb. Came up a couple of times in the week to see if everything was okay, also just a text away as well.
All in all a fantastic holiday.
Palma Gora is a magical place, nestling in the hills above Tivat it is the prefect base to experience the magic of Montenegro. 11 of us holidayed here in the 4 apartments and it was a very special holiday. The villas are in an amazing location, nestling in the hills above Tivat with the most splendid views of anywhere I've stayed. You really do have the best of both worlds here at PAlma Gora - glorious isolation in stunning countryside but only a 5 euro taxi ride into Tivat to experience great restaurants and bars and beautiful seafront scenery. The medieval town of Kotor is only 20 minutes way where you can explore the old town, sit in great cafes and restaurants and sample the fresh cuisine that Montenegro has to offer. You can travel by boat along the stunning Kotor fiord to beautiful Perast. Palama Gora is a real gem of a place, I'll be back. Thank you Chris.
