Meadow Lodge is a very comfortable holiday home in Cornwall near to Padstow. It provides the ideal place for a family holiday or for those wanting to walk the coastal paths, surf or horse ride on the beach.The property is spacious with 4 double bedrooms and can sleep up to 10.

It is virtually home from home, we just drive there and we're on holiday. Breakfasts in the village, most other meals in restaurants and cafe's in and around. Lots of places to visit within an hours drive.

About Peter Moores

Meadow Lodge is a family owned property run by myself and my three children. We acquired the property just over 3 years ago and spent most of 2013 preparing it to rent out to ourselves and and others, commencing in 2014.

My three children all have families with children ranging from 10yrs to 19yrs, and all have spent holidays there in 2013/14 and 2015 and vote it one of the best of their holiday experiences.

We are not aiming to make vast profits but hope to offset some of our costs by renting the property out.We hope to gain experience and get some feedback from visitors during the coming year to enable us to improve all aspects of the holiday experience.

Property acquired in January 2013. The area around Padstow is fantastic for all the family to enjoy. It is a perfect holiday for those who enjoy the beach or those who prefer more relaxing activities with many places of interest to visit and plenty of good pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

What makes this bungalow unique

It is virtually home from home, we just drive there and we're on holiday. Breakfasts in the village, most other meals in restaurants and cafe's in and around. Lots of places to visit within an hours drive.

Excellent holiday

The bungalow is spacious, in excellent condition and very well equipped and also very comfortable. There is plenty of parking space and the bungalow has a lovely garden and also an excellent conservatory to relax in. There are two kitchens both well equipped if you fancy doing some cooking on your own.The village is just a couple of minutes walk away and generally there is plenty to see and do around the area. The owner had left plenty of information leaflets about places to visit and he is a pleasure to deal with. There was also a handy guide about all the essentials such as WiFi, heating etc which is very useful. All in all we had a great holiday. I would definitely recommend this property and we hope to visit again.

Coast/Beach:

There a huge choice of wonderful beaches for Surfing, Swimming or Horse Riding.

The nearest is probably Harlyn Bay at 15mins walking time but Constantine, Trevone and Treyarnon bays are nearby and all have car parks. Walkers will find fantastic coastal paths going north and south from Harlyn Bay. Horse riding is available from stables in St Merryn.

Distances:

St Merryn village, shops and petrol station is approx 1/4 mile.

Padstow is approx 3 miles

Wadebridge is approx 7 miles

Newquay is approx 10 miles

Further Details:

In Padstow 3 miles away there are Banks, a post office, numerous restaurants, cafe's and delicatessen including the famous Rick Stein restaurant and cookery school. Also a range of shops and picture galleries etc.

In Padstow you can also hire bicycles to ride along the Camel Estuary Trail to Wadebridge or on to Bodmin.

Booking Notes:
On taking a booking, an initial non refundable deposit of 30% of the total letting fee will be required. The letting fee will be the total of the weekly/daily letting rate for the chosen period plus a cleaning fee of £216:00
The Balance should be paid 30 days before the holiday commences.
In addition to the above a £250:00 Refundable Deposit may be taken on arrival against damages. This deposit will be returned when the property has been satisfactorily checked out after departure

Change over day is Saturday
Arrival time is nominally 2:00pm but can be arranged to suit your travel arrangements.
Departure time is normally by or before 10:00am

30% of Total rental charge on Reservation, Balance 1 month before commencement.
