These properties are situated on the top (3rd floor) and accessed by steps - totally worth it for the stunning view. The majority of properties on Ciovo and in the area don't reach more than 3 floors - thankfully. There is no lift in the majority of buildings on Ciovo. If you think you might be concerned about them I do manage other properties on the 1st floor - let me know if you have any questions.
Passionate about Croatia and traveling in general, I love this area of the country as there is so much to see and do, it's the perfect hub for exploring more of the Dalmatia area, plus it's right on the beach. Happy to help with your plans any way that I can. Feel free to call or email me.

We arrived at destination at night, so first holiday impressions were of the apartment, and all I can say is what a great beginning to our holiday! The apartment was huge and airy - really spacious and attractive, Most importantly it was spotlessly clean. Vlado and Josepa made us feel immediately welcome when they greeted us, and were really helpful, giving us some good information and pointers for our holiday.
The view from the balcony of the nearby beach and indigo sea the next morning was just beautiful! The beach itself was just a few minutes stroll away, walking along the quiet twisty lanes between the pretty houses and their gardens (the whole area is really peaceful and restful). The beach - a white pebble one - was great, not at all hectic, with plenty of sunbeds available, and there's several restaurants in the immediate vicinity that serve food all day too, their menus providing plenty of choice. There was also a good supermarket beside the beach too. At night we stayed in Ciovo either enjoying one of the friendly local restaurants or else cooking ourselves at the apartment, for which the kitchen is ideal (as it's really kitted out just like the one at home) and eating at the large dining table or al fresco on the large balcony
The apartment really proved a comfortable home for our party of six for the ten days we were there, as it contained everything we could possibly need.
The other thing that made this holiday to Croatia so enjoyable was the the town of Trogir next door. We were unaware before we arrived that we would be neighbouring a World Heritage Site! Trogir is really very beautiful, absolutely stunning! It's only a short taxi ride/ few euro away from the apartment. After wandering around the old town there we'd sit out and watch the beautiful people disembark their yachts in the harbour! We went into Trogir every second night (there's many bars and restaurants) though we'd heartily recommend that you make at least one trip to see it during daylight. The combination of the apartment and the area of Ciovo and Trogir made for a brilliant holdiay, we really felt so lucky. Becasuse we were there for ten days we thought it would be a waste not to explore a little and travelled to the islands of Hvar and Brac - making a fantastic two day trip of it. We have, without doubt, fallen for this particular part of Croatia - and look forward to returning to the same spot and apartment again as it was just idea for us - Fay Family
We stayed at Alison's gorgeous apartment in august. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the 10 days we were there. The location and view were the two main reason we picked this property and they did not disappoint.
We loved the area especially medieval Trogir. The local restaurants are superb and the recommendations Alison gave were spot on. Leonardos down the road and Sr Dela were really tasty.
10 days is just not enough so we are going again early year.
Thanks for a great stay.
we really enjoyed our holidays at your apartment in Okrug! We made excursions to Split, Zadar and the National Parks Krka and Paklenica. In the envenings we enjoyed the view on the Adria from the balcony. The administration was well organized.
We were a group of 9 people and stayed for 10 days. The flat was big and well maintained, like in the description. We had a problem finding the house, because there were two same housenumbers, but the caretaker was realy friendly. We could reach her at any time and she always helped us out.
There were just a few minor problems:
- no fly screens (we had many mosquitos)
- the kitchen was to small for 9 persons
- because the pictures on the internet are from different flats, we imagined a bigger balcony (only space for 3 persons)
Traffic problems in Trogir (you have to leave early or include extra time for your travel)
All in all it were realy great holidays!
Accommodation, facilities, and position excellent, which together with Josipa's friendly welcome, and assistance, all combined to ensure our long awaited family holiday was enjoyable, and relaxing. > Local restaurants, beaches, and Cocktail bars, particularly on World Cup Football opening night, were very vibrant, and also added to the relaxed, and enjoyable local atmosphere. > > So, thank you for the facilities provided, and would certainly recommend to friends and relatives. We look forward to returning at some stage in the future. > > Kind Regards, > Mervyn (Sparks) & Family > Cape Town, South Africa
What a great holiday. We have stayed here a number of times before and we just can’t get enough of it. Firstly, the apartment is so spacious and fresh that you really feel relaxed and on holidays from the moment you arrive. The spaciousness was immediately obvious. It was bright, clean and had fabulous views. Having three separate bathrooms was a boon with a large family in tow. The apartment had everything you could ask for. Ciovo itself is a lovely location for families, couples and young alike. The local restaurants are great, with variety of choice all close by (make sure to try out Leonardo's, you won't be disappointed). Trogir is only 4 kilometres away and is a must (the same streets were walked by the Roman legions more than 2000 years ago, and the streets are unchanged). We took the water taxi from Ciovo and it took about a very pleasant ten minutes, (leaves every half hour). There is open air entertainment almost every night in Trogir. All the usual holiday activities (snorkelling, cycling, quad biking, jet-ski and boating/sailing) are available on Ciovo. We stayed here before and I am certain that we will be back again, because everything about the place is just great, especially the locals.
The Island of Ciovo is attached by bridge to Trogir (medieval town over 2400 years old). The apartments/holiday homes are an ideal accommodation for your holiday in Croatia. Trogir is called a 'little Venice', a town-museum of the medieval heritage. Its history goes back to the Hellenic times. UNESCO recognized its values and included it in the registry of the world monument heritage. Mediterranean climate. Trogir is a jewel of a walled town with a wide waterfront promenade that encloses a maze of medieval streets. Summer Music festivals with classical and folk concerts in churches and open squares. Places of interest include: Krka National Park - Wonderful waterfalls and lakes. Islands of Brac and Hvar both accessible from Ciovo. Shopping in Split. Visit the Diocletian's Palace in Split. Come in the high season and you’ll find Croatia vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Enjoy the local beaches, sun and coffee shops; taste local cuisine and the great weather :)
Other Activities: White Water Rafting, Snorkling, Diving - Croatia is a divers delight, clear and calm waters
