About Simon and Jean
Hello Lake District lovers. Simon and Jean welcome you to our Windermere Cottage. We live in the Isle of Man but spend time walking in the Lakes as often as we can. We hope you too will enjoy the many recreational opportunities that the area offers using Santon Cottage as a wonderful base.
Simon and Jean purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Simon and Jean chose Windermere
Secluded & quiet, but in the heart of Windermere with its many restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. Many other local facilities and excellent transport links (3 minutes from rail & bus stations).
What makes this Cottage unique
Grade 2 listed 1840s Lakeland cottage.

A MUST HAVE VACATION
A very clean and tidy cottage, accommodates your every need, Beds very comfortable, a walled back yard which was perfect for our dog knowing when he was outside he was safe, Also very close to all shops, Bars and Restaurants and a short walk to the beautiful Windermere Lake , Already planning a return visit.
Nice cottage well situated for Train & Bus Stations and also very close to Booths Supermarket.
We had a perfect stay at the cottage, the location was fantastic and the cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed and we will be staying again
You can stop looking, you have found the perfect property!
I can’t imagine how you could improve on this property, most especially location! Being set back one street from the main road meant that we had perfect peace and quiet while being in the heart of the town and right beside the bus/train station. We could leave the cottage a few minutes before a bus was due and after a long days walking and sightseeing it was a joy to know that ‘home’ was only a few minutes down the hill!! The cottage itself was well equipped and perfectly clean. The beds were really comfy, the WiFi reliable and the showers were hot. We were so lucky to choose this cottage and that it was free for our dates!
Amazing loved it house was beautiful ❤️
I can't wait to go back absolutely loved it our dogs loved every second and so did our family. My daughter who is 11 months settled in straight away, travel cott and stair gate there to use honestly can't knock it at all!
Thank you so much for having us owners are lovely too.
Very good accomodation and perfect for us over the Great Swim weekend.
