Mas Dinina is a charming Provencal house set in grounds of over 12 acres – beautiful gardens, restored terraced olive groves, vines and extensive woodland. It is peacefully secluded, but has the benefit of being only 5 minutes from the popular medieval town of Lorgues with its numerous boulangeries, supermarkets, restaurants and markets. Beautiful shading mulberry trees and plants adorn the tiered terracing outside the house, along with a wonderfully large covered area with an al fresco modular seating area and dining tables that can cater for twenty. On the other side of the house, you can relax in the shade of the large pool house which overlooks the unusually shaped beautiful pool . The house itself has four main bedrooms and an extra walk through children’s bedroom, as well as four bathrooms and a separate loo - making Mas Dinina the perfect place to holiday with family or friends.

Outside: One one side of the house there is a delightful private and unusually-shaped swimming pool, surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace with sun loungers and shaded pool house with seating, foldable all-weather table tennis table At the front of the house there is substantial covered outside area, entwined with vines and herbaceous plants - there is comfortable seating and a dining table (seats 18+). It is the perfect location for all meals and pre-dinner drinks! Tiered terracing surrounds the house Gas Barbecue Large garden Olive groves Woodland area Electric gates Utility Room: Washing machine Freezer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen are included. Maison de Lorgues is simply fantastic! A beautiful home, in tranquil private grounds.

We are so delighted that we have found this charming French family property, surrounded by olive trees and in a very peaceful location. The house was perfect for our family ranging from 12 - 71 years! We celebrated a 70th birthday whilst staying and it couldn't have been a better house for such an occasion. The outside dining area, patio's and seating areas are just brilliant spaces for relaxing, eating, reading or enjoying a glass of local rosé. The pool is lovely with plenty of space to sit in the sun or cool off in the shade of the open pool house. The house is extremely well equipped and in particular the kitchen, it has everything you would ever need for entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms are really lovely, the beds are very comfortable. We loved our time at Maison de Lorgues and can't wait to return. We would recommend a day out at Sainte-Croix du Verdon or Antibes and an evening in Mougins.

A perfect peaceful location

This property works well for either 2 families or a single extended family.

With 4 bathrooms there are no more morning lines and the modernised and very well equipped kitchen makes life easy for the meal preparers.

Lorgues is easy walking distance for those who want to burn off a few calories after enjoying meals at the local restaurants. It is a pretty, small town that has all the amenities one could need including 3 boulangeries and an excellent traiteur in the main street.

The surrounding towns and villages all have their own special feel; we particularly liked Carces with its' amazing trompe l'oeil decorations on the buildings and the way new buildings - maison de retraite and a parking station - have been integrated into the local architecture. There are a lot of towns in the world that could benefit from seeing how it should be done.

Overall this a great property, clean and well managed and with all the facilities you could want.

Wonderful, peaceful villa

It is rare for a holiday rental to live up to, and in most instances, exceed expectations. This villa does!

The bedrooms are perfect for a large group with three rooms en-suite and the other two sharing a large shower room. All needs were comfortable and the rooms well decorated.

The living space is perfect for a large group as there are several seating areas, a large kitchen and plenty of storage. The kitchen is extremely well equipped.

Outside the grounds are extensive. The pool is lovely and large. The seating areas are well spread out so that people can have peace and quiet if needed.

The villa is 1.2 miles from Lorgues and so getting bread etc in the morning is easy on foot or by car. It is equally easy to walk into town for a drink.

The local restaurants are great too.

Lorgues is stunning. We'd never been before but fell for the simplicity of the town whilst the history of the medieval centre is fascinating.

We hope to return!

The nearest beach is Ste Maxime, only a short 40 minute hop over the hill. The glamour of St Tropez is only a bit further (but with a lot more traffic!).

The breathtaking Lac Set Croix / Gorges du Verdon (the French Grand Canyon) is gasp-inducing nature on a super scale, with an abundance of adventure activities here including white water rafting, aquatrekking, canoeing, pedaloing.

Toulon-Hyères - 1 hour

There are two large supermarkets, a plethora of bakeries and banks, newsagents, chemists, bars and cafés. There are also plenty of restaurants that will cater for all your holiday needs, ranging from France’s finest truffle Michelin-starred restaurant (Chez Bruno) to more modest local Provençal fare and pizzerias.

Lorgues is also surrounded by local vineyards and wine domains nearby to visit for tasting and buying!

Château de Berne – a large wine estate with a fine restaurant and jazz picnics

Thoronet Abbey – a former Cistercian abbey built in the late twelfth and early thirteenth century, now restored as a museum.

Villecroze – a picturesque town overlooked by cliffs whose caves were fortified by Benedictines - the ‘grottoes troglodytes’

Salernes – a small town dominated by the ruins of it's 13th-century chateau and famous for its ceramics

Tourtour – called "the village in the sky of Provence", the town overlooks a large part of Provence from the town of Fréjus along the Mediterranean coast in the east to the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, a favorite subject of the painter Paul Cézanne, in the west. Also a member of "The most beautiful villages of France" association.

Entrecasteaux – a picturesque town dominated by a 17-century chateau

Aups – awarded the Croix-de-Guerre for its Resistance activity during the war.

Ste Croix Lake – enjoy swimming in the bright blue waters of the lake

Gorges du Verdon – France’s stab at emulating the Grand Canyon, it is 700 metres straight down in places! As well as gasp-inducing nature on a super scale, there is an abundance of adventure activities here including white water rafting, aquatrekking, canoeing, pedaloing.
