The Mews is our larger barn conversion, sleeping 6/8 in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 double rooms with ensuite shower rooms and 1 twin room with bathroom which has a super roll top bath. Original features have been retained including trusses in the open plan living/dining area, which also includes a feature fireplace. Twin and one double rooms are downstairs, with the third bedroom being upstairs with a small landing, seating here includes a fabulous antique chaise lounge. Very well equipped kitchen, well stocked for your stay. Access to parking and decked area with hot tub and seating area is from the kitchen and the sitting room - views across the fields, plus our friendly sheep who love to be fed bread! Please note that if the Mews is booked, we are able to accommodate 6 between our other 2 properties.

'Home from home' barn conversions sleeping 2; 4 and 6/8 are available individually or together. We were originally a working farm, but now have friendly pet sheep, hens, dogs and cats to welcome you! Our larger property has a decked area overlooking fields that has a fabulous hot tub, fun in the sun and the snow. We have a friendly pub serving home cooked food only 5 mins walk away, together with an award winning gastropub only 5 miles away. Ashbourne, a glorious market town and often called 'The Gateway to the Peak District' is only 10 minutes drive. Children and well-behaved dogs are very welcome! Coarse fishing can be arranged on our 5 acre lake, situated 10 minutes drive from here.
We have lived at Hall Farm for 14 years and have spent the last 9 years lovingly restoring the outbuildings to create 3 barn conversions that we are very proud of!
Julian, my husband is a farmer, so is quite prone to bringing various lambs home in the spring for us to look after, and they tend to get named after guests who are staying! We have two children, George and Annabel, as well as 2 dogs, Dave and Archie, 1 cat, Tasha, and 3 pet sheep, Amber, Lizzie and Bear plus lots of hens, so fresh eggs in plentiful supply!
We are Derbyshire born and bred, but met at a 21st birthday in Aigua Blava, Spain! Derbyshire has an array of activities and such stunning scenery within a short distance. Ease of access also a major factor.
Hollington is a very well placed village for guests arriving from all directions of the country - only 25 minutes from the M1, 10 minutes from the A50, perfect for meeting friends and family. We have award-winning gastropubs galore within a short distance, perfect after a day out in the Peaks and its surrounding areas. Not to mention the hot tub!!!

Ashbourne is a glorious market town, with plenty of supermarkets, banks, coffee shops and delis selling local produce for you to enjoy during your stay. We have an abundance of award winning places to eat within a short drive, together with plenty of places to visit. Cycling along trails, visiting National Trust properties, having fun at Alton Towers - the list is endless!
