The Chapel Thornham is a beautifully presented conversion of a Chapel built in 1870 in the heart of Coastal Thornham. The well thought out interior offers downstairs open plan living with 3 bedrooms upstairs, a Family size bathroom and a downstairs wet room. A funky family retreat close to the beach or a romantic and cosy setting for 2! A great location to get to Norfolk's tourist attractions.

About Lucinda Reddyhoff

Nick and I work together producing Design for both print and web as well as an array of design work. Nick is also a commercial illustrator, with his work being published in advertising and editorial worldwide. We lovingly designed, renovated and furnished The Chapel Thornham. We have furnished it as a home from home and continually upkeep and renew when necessary to keep it lovely. I am personally involved in the housekeeping changeover to ensure a high standard of cleaning and presentation for our guests. We love the Chapel Thornham - it has a lovely atmosphere and has many happy memories for us and all the families who stay there.

Why Lucinda Reddyhoff chose Thornham

We lived next door and have always admired the quirky and pretty Chapel. We would have loved to use it as our studio but couldn't afford to do that, so we renovated it, made it beautiful and a lovely holiday home to rent out to pay for itself. It is ideally situated in the heart of the village, we are lucky to have award winning bar/restaurant/pubs. The Village Harbour (great for crabbing) and lovely walks are a stroll away. The Beach is a 20 minute walk along the coastal path but this makes it less busy in the height of summer than the other beaches.

Thornham is a great central base to explore all of the local tourist attractions.

Notes on accommodation: The Chapel Thornham has retained some of the original panelling, fixtures and has solid oak pew with hand carving. Utility Room: Utility room has washer dryer and upright fridge freezer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: 400 count Egyptian cotton linen and towels provided Changeover once a week. Other: Porchway with original panelling for coats and boots. Upstairs gallery area with chaise lounge and views onto the south facing Church lawns.

Quaint Town Modern Property

Clean, well furnished, well-equipped space.The common space was comfortable the bathrooms modern and beds comfortable with very nice linens. The bedrooms were a little cramped. Steps to second level are a little steep. Nice restaurants nearby. If the opportunity presented itself we would stay again. Hostess was helpful and responsive to inquiries.

A beautiful home from home with lots of traditional character

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chapel. A great base for our holiday. Everything is well thought through including board games and toys for kids and warm welcoming touches such as home made bread!! Very stylish property whilst retaining a comfortable family ambiance.

Thornham Beach can be reached by walking on the coastal path - approx 20 mins or drive to Holme Nature reserve where you can park and walk onto the beach. Brancaster beach 10 mins drive or 10 min drive to Old Hunstanton beach. All beaches are sandy. Old Hunstanton and Brancaster have toilet blocks

Travel:

Norwich Airport and Stanstead Airports approx 1 and half hours drive away

Kings Lynn Train Station 35 mins away.

Distances:
