A great bargain for large family holidays, corporate or golfing holidays! This makes Casa Montana a low cost, but high quality holiday rental in a fabulous location just 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport 12 km and approximately 15 mins walk to the town of Alhaurin de la Torre.
The Villa has 11 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, private pool and is set in pleasant gardens surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains.
The owner of the Villa is a Christian association for the visually impaired in Norway, called Midtun, (Foreningen til kristne blindes feriehjem). I am representing this association by helping to rent out the property.
My work also is in an organization among the visually impaired in Norway, called KABB.

Some weeks during the year, visually impaired people from Norway stay at the Villa to do courses or to simply enjoy a vacation. The rest of the year the Villa is available for rental.

I stayed in this villa in September 2016 with 16 family members covering 4 generations - from 78 years to 3 months old.
It is an excellent property which is well maintained and with great facilities. It was perfect for our large group.
The outside space is lovely - a good size pool, plenty of sunbeds, lots of shade and a great barbecue area next to a huge seating area ideal for socialising. The photos on-line of the gardens of the property don't really do it justice - we spent most of our time outside and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The table tennis table brought out the competitor in everyone and by the end of the week we had all improved greatly. The pool table inside also proved very popular.
The property was very clean and had everything you could need - well equipped kitchen, cots, beach and pool towels, good showers, inflatables for the pool, beach equipment and more.
The villa is located in a quiet street with good access to local beaches and great mountain walks.
The Wi-Fi was a little intermittent due to issues within the village but I understand the owner is hoping to improve this in the coming month.

Fantastic villa with everything we could have ever asked for and extra.
We have just returned after spending a week there , 15 people ,7 kids from 2 to 15 years old and 2 pensioners with limited mobility The villa is huge with more space than we expected,there is plenty of space in the grounds if you want some quiet time . The pool was excellent the kids and adults loved sitting by the pool all day with More than adequate seating.we had a BBQ and all eat around the poolside tables (shaded).
Ingrid and Kieth were brilliant !!, they were always available to chat on the phone answering any questions and giving advice on where to eat out go shopping anything !,one evening I phoned Kieth because I couldn't switch the pool lights on he drove over straight away and fixed the light switch he even helped phone the Chinese takeaway for us 👍.Ingrid recommend the local taxi Pedro's who taxied us all around all week and they couldn't do enough for us .
To sum it up after reading other reviews the whole of our party couldn't fault the villa ,the outside pool area was well lit ,OK the walk from the pool to the kitchen to get a beer could be a pain but we ended up buying ice bags and filling cool boxes which are provided.
The kitchen does get hot but it has everything you could need.
There was stereos ,DVD,s CD,s books games ,pool floats
To sum it up you couldn't find a better place to stay as a big party 10/10

We stayed for a week in August and had the best time. Most bedrooms had an en-suite which was perfect. The kitchen was a little bit small and gets quite warm but with the outside cooking facilities being so good, we cooked outside most of the time.
The pictures don't do the outside justice. The pool is great, perfect for kids and it's cleaned a couple of times over the week. We will definitely go back
The house and garden was shiny when we arrived, and the hosts showed us everything and informed well.
There was nothing to complain about at all. Bed lining and towels was very clean and nice.
We had dinner in the town several times, and if You like a long walk just leave the car at home!
Vi hadde det superfint i Casa Montana . Veldig flott hage og basseng .
Vi leide huset i 1 uke og trivdes veldig godt der. Vi var 14 stykker og hadde veldig god plass. Det er flott med mange bad og toalett til alle soverom, trur det også økte trivselen. Huset har alt man trenger av utstyr og har fine ute områder. Basseng området var flott med alt man trenger av solsenger og skygge. Bord tennis bordet og biljardbordet ble brukt mye. Om det skulle være noe som trekker ned måtte det være mye hundeglam om kvelden og litt harde madrasser for norske rygger. Men vi vil anbefale huset for alle og kommer gjerne igjen. Det var ingen butikker i gå avstand, så det er kjekt med tilgang på bil.

Responsible for damage. Upon departure, the property will be checked if any of the inventory is damaged or removed. The tenant is responsible for damage to the house or inventory, that occurs during the rental period. A complete ‘property inventory’ can be viewed at the property.
On arrival a cash deposit of £200 or in equivalent currency must be paid.
The lead guest who made the booking is responsible to ensure all damage, breakages/lost keys are reported to the managers before departure.
A full refund will be returned by recorded delivery at no cost to the guest within 21 working days, if no damages/breakages are found.
In the event of any damages an e mail will be sent to the lead guest outlining any damages found and the cost of replacement/repair, plus the cost of recorded delivery to refund the remainder of the deposit.
