About Micheline Ward

Passionate about interior design and style, Adrian, a chartered building consultant, having run a successful bespoke kitchen business in the UK for many years, decided with his wife, to buy a rural property in France offering potential to realise his creativity and knowledge. Recreating and restoring a Charantaise house with the space to create several gites has provided the ideal outlet for his design abilities. His wife, Micheline, a retired health professional and Francophile needed no persuasion to embark on this exciting development. Sharing the belief that holiday accommodation should excel or at least equal the comfort and style of home, they have renovated the gites to an exceptionally high standard to provide a quality environment within a rural setting.

Harmonious, Gentle sway to Life

If you are looking for a little taste of Shangri-La with a simple yet classy touch look no further than this quaintly contained paradise. My family and I arrived at this beautiful Gite and received such a personal and warm welcome from Miche and Adrian the Hosts. Miche had prepared a tasty lasagne and a home grown salad accompanied by a delicious Pear Torte! the fridge was stocked with cheese and croissants and wine and yummy strawberry was an exceptional first impression! The willingness to help in any given situation and the openness we received from these gorgeous hosts was unforgettable!!! We will certainly be steering many more people in your direction so that they can too experience their little taste of heaven!! Thank you so much once again for making our stay memorable!

Wonderful surprise

What a fantastic reception from the owners, locally grown ingredients prepared for us in our welcome meal plus a well stocked kitchen full of goodies for our stay. The pool was definitely inviting and utilised on a daily basis.

I would thoroughly recommend this tranquil idyllic setting to anyone, fantastic value for money and nothing was too much trouble for the owners who made us feel more like family than paying guests.
