Beautiful and cozy chalet
We had an absolutely lovely Christmas holiday at Jane's chalet. It is situated on a quiet road about 5 minutes from the town of Samöens. It has a beautiful view of the valley and the town below. There were days when we would stand at the balcony and see the endless stretch of nature with a little creek at the bottom of the hill.
We were a group of 8 people (5 adults and 3 teenagers) and we had 4 rooms with comfortable beds and 2 modern bathrooms. The kitchen was well appointed. The fireplace (free firewood available) was warm and cozy keeping us company in the living room while we played games.
I would have no qualms recommending this chalet to anyone.
Thank you so much. We are delighted that you had a fabulous stay and like us you enjoyed the spectacular views and calm of the surroundings. Best wishes to you and your family. Should you wish to holiday with us again you are most welcome.

High quality & very comfortable Chalet
A lovely property in a beautiful location with stunning views and a short drive from the town. All the bedrooms are a great size and the living area is comfortable with more than ample seating area with a great warming log fire great to come home to after a hard days skiing. The kitchen and breakfast area is large, modern and well equipped with a separate large dinning table to eat play cards and drink wine.
The owner was very helpful and the French agent is based nearby in the town. You do need a car as the town is too far to walk in the winter. Out teenagers loved the skiing but the town was very lively apres ski but dead after 7.30pm.
this is a stunning lovely chalet !

Samoens is a charming historic town that has retained much of its original character making it a popular holiday destination all year round. In winter there are over 265kms of skiing and snowboarding in the Grand Massif, suitable for beginners as well as the most experienced. In the Giffre valley there is cross country skiing and snow shoe trekking. For those who seek the thrill of adventure there is paragliding and ice climbing. From late spring until autumn the Alps open up for walking, hiking, mountain biking and many other activities whilst the valley offers water rafting, quad biking and for children an extensive playground as well as outdoor swimming pool in Samoens.Tourist information provides a weekly program of events, in English and French, as well as a five day weather forecast. Samoens also offers yoga, massage, meditation, beauty treatments, has a wide range of shops, a brilliant Wednesday market, huge choice of restaurants and bars and even a small cinema.
Other Activities: Ready access to mountain refuges and the Mont Blanc Route as well as canoeing, archery, golf on the water, boules, donkey treks
