About Nick and Gill Seagrave
This is a family holiday home.
Nick and Gill Seagrave purchased this Bungalow in 1960
Why Nick and Gill Seagrave chose Porthleven
This property belonged to our grandparents. They loved living in Cornwall with its mild weather and relaxed way of life. We have many happy memories of family holidays here for the last 30 years so we have extended and refurbished the property. Now it is complete family and friends will be visiting regularly, but for the remaining weeks we thought we should give others the opportunity to experience the area.
What makes this Bungalow unique
Having a base in such a beautiful location is fabulous and we think the property is perfect for an affordable family holiday.

Extremely comfortable and clean
We have stayed at this property at least twice and can recommend it very highly. There is loads of space and everything is of good quality and very clean. A real home for home. Porthleven is a great centre for touring in the Lizard area.
Thank-you for your review
good family size home & easy reach of the harbour
this is the second year we have stayed at this property. it is clean and tidy and easy access to the harbour and centre of Porthleven, a beautiful little fishing town on the Lizard peninsular. the décor in the property is a little tired but still comfortable.
Home from home
Very clean, very comfortable and lots of space.
This was our second visit and hopefully we will return again.
It was pleasing to see the refurbished bathroom and toilet, thank you.
We also enjoyed some of the apples from the trees in the garden!
We both love Porthleven and the Lizard peninsula.
Very well situated property with an easy stroll down to the harbour and all it's facilities.
The property has a few foibles. The furniture in the lounge is old fashioned and the bathroom and toilet are very small. There is a nice and roomy kitchen diner which is let down by build quality. The beds are nice and comfy and there is a good size garden. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Porthleven.
Quiet, clean, large, practical house within easy walking distance to Porthleven harbour
I would happily stay here again, especially with my family. It was an ideal place to have as a base for exploring Cornwall.
We stayed in this house for 11 days during our holiday in Cornwall and appreciated every minute of it. The house is large, three good sized bedrooms, two double and a single. A large sitting room with TV and a well-appointed and large kitchen. It’s possible to park two pretty large cars in the drive way.
The bedrooms have good beds, enough closet and drawer space to ensure comfort. There are bed side tables and lights for everybody. The rooms are clean and inviting with lovely views, nice light coming in through the windows and good curtains. The street is quiet making for lovely sleepfull nights.
There is a shower room and separate toilet. The toilet is OK, there are handles for people who need a bit of extra help getting up. The shower room is also OK. The shower stall is a bit of a squeeze but the shower itself is good.
The sitting room has a lovely view of the garden and two large doors that can be opened up to the garden. The furniture is a bit dated but clean, comfortable and well kept. The TV is functional and large. We were very comfortable there in the evenings.
The kitchen is large and has a lovely dining table by the window with the best view from the house. We had great joy watching people on their way to and from town, walking their dogs and the birds outside. The kitchen is spacious, light and bright and has everything you’d need for cooking and serving a decent meal. There is a dishwasher and washing machine – both were clean and worked very well. The kitchen is clean, there are many cupboards and space for food to be stored. The fridge is decent.
Thank-you for your review. I'm glad you were happy.
Quiet place and good equipment, friendly housekeeping.
We had 2 wonderful weeks and enjoyed a lot of places. Near to Lizard and also Land's End.
