The apartment is a well-equipped ‘Studio Cabine’ for up to 4 people (across two sleeping areas), on the first floor of a well-maintained block (not on the main road) and literally only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town (Tourist Office Square) and both the Super Morzine and Pleney ski lifts. Fantastic location for families looking for an Alpine adventure in both winter and summer. If you come in the winter you don't need your car to get around, nor need to bother with the shuttle buses, everything is within walking distance. Activities in Morzine include: skiing/ walking/ cycling/ swimming/ tree-adventures/ ice-skating/ cinema and in the summer countless day-trips can be enjoyed in the wider region if you have access to a car (we can recommend Lakes, beaches, even a Swiss chocolate factory!). From the balcony pleasant views can be enjoyed over the rooftops towards the Nant Crue mountain and the Super Morzine cable car lift. Also available for your use is an allocated parking space, a ski-locker and a boot-room - all on the ground floor. Free WIFI and use of Cot and High-chair. Casino supermarket (formerly 'Eds') only 2-3 mins away by foot.

To BOOK and RESERVE your dates, we only require an initial deposit of £200 (part non-refundable deposit / part refundable damages deposit). BALANCING payment not due until 6 WEEKS before arrival date. Cleaning and local tourist taxes are all included in our rates.

About Heather Yarram and Austin Taylor

We discovered Morzine as a family a few years ago and enjoyed a couple of holidays there (both winter and summer) before deciding to buy. We love active holidays, for which Morzine is perfect - our young children love playing in the snow and skiing as much as they do swimming in lakes and wandering about the mountains in the summertime.

We chose to buy in Morzine after looking at a few other areas in France - not only a great place for skiing, but also fantastic for summer holidays with plenty to keep us all entertained winter and summer. We love Morzine and the surrounding area:

- Fantastic choice of skiing in Morzine, Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes de Soleil

- The massive array of activities in the surrounding area

- Near to the airport at Geneva.

Most of all we love the welcome that the town gives to visitors young and old.

What makes this apartment unique

Renovated for the 2013/14 ski season, the apartment is a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and ski lifts to both the Super Morzine (Avoriaz) and Pleney (Morzine) ski areas. The apartment is in a quiet block with allocated parking space and ski/boot room. Very near to shops, bars and restaurants.

Notes on accommodation: There isn't a jet-wash facility or prep-area for mountain bikes at the property, so we kindly ask bikes are clean before wheeling through the lobby to our secure boot-room (jet-wash services are provided at the foot of The Pleney in Morzine, and the same in Les Gets) Outside: La Troika has a shared garden with lawn and trees - perfect for snowball fights and snowmen. One allocated parking space is located next to the main entrance. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Property is cleaned prior to arrival with all linen, towels and tea towels included in the winter rental (for weekly stays). In the summer, linen can be provided for a small extra charge per person. We respectfully ask renters to leave the property as they would expect to find it. Other: In the lobby there is a ski-locker, and beyond that a separate cellar/boot-room where in winter-time chairs are provided to aid removal of ski-boots etc. before heading upstairs to the apartment

Nice little apartment

Perfect stay for the Harley Days 2017. The apartment sleeps 4 people and is equipped with everything you need. Owners are very nice and respond quick to your questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cute little apartment in convenient location

3 of us stayed in this lovely apartment, the view from the balcony is great and it is just a short walk to the Plenny and Super Morzine lifts ...or a shorter walk to the Bus Stop to Prodains (Avoriaz) Morzine has lots to offer food and drink wise and I am keen to return for a summer visit :-)

Great little Apartment

Just a quick note to thank you for the use of your apartment, it’s a lovely little pad and we enjoyed our stay very much although the beautiful weather helped greatly!

The property was clean, cosy and well appointed and a very short stroll into town.

Cosy, Comfortable, Convenient

We chose the Morzine Studio for our Christmas ski holiday as it looked lovely in the photos and was reasonably priced. It certainly lived up to expectations! The apartment is quiet, warm and cosy, and has everything you need, including wifi which kept our two teenagers happy. We were impressed with the compact, very well-equipped kitchen which has a dishwasher and multi-function oven. The storage room on the ground floor was also very useful for boots and ski clothes. The owners are great to deal with and very helpful. Morzine is a lovely town and a great base for skiing. Hope to return next year!

Beautiful presented studio!

This accommodation is immaculate, very well presented! We were extremely comfortable throughout our whole stay. You have everything you need, including dishwasher!! Amazing views from a spacious balcony. La Troika is very secure for either bikes or ski's. In a brilliant location, just 5 mins from Morzine centre and Pleney or Super Morzine. Despite being so close it is also wonderfully quiet!! Would definitely return! Thanks for a brilliant week! Claire and George, Bristol

Lovely flat with an outstanding view

Lovely flat with an outstanding balcony view. Great location close to ski lifts and centre of Morzine. Well equipped and comfortable. Owner was quick responding to any questions we had and helped us make the most of our week. Highly recommended.

Our family had a great week’s stay. Enjoyed lovely hill walks and great cycling (road and MTB). Swimming pool, tennis courts, skate park and luge are conveniently located and within easy walking distance of the flat. In the surrounding area, the medieval village of Yvoire at Lac Léman and nearby beaches are worth a visit, as are the Pont du Diable gorges you pass on the drive there.

Lac Montriond is a 10 minute drive form the apartment with a man-made beach in summer and separate smaller bathing lake perfect for family swimming and BBQ. In the summer, there is an Olympic sized outdoor pool a 5-10 minute walk from La Troika alongside the Palais des Sports.


Geneva airport is approx 1.20 minutes (or 48 miles) drive from Morzine with regular transfer options available in season.

Driving from the UK: from Calais the journey by road takes 8/9 hours (550 miles). Car isn't necessary in the winter, but thoroughly recommended in summer months to explore the local area and beyond.

Annecy - 52 Miles

Evian-les-Bains - 24 Miles

Morzine has lots of activities for non-skiers - a new indoor swimming-pool complex, cinema, shopping, ice-skating and walks along the river.

WINTER PRICES include use of linen; towels; tea towels; bath mat and cleaning at end of stay (for short stays, linen/towels can be supplied for a small extra charge per person). Tourist Tax included. WiFi is included. Summer prices don't include linen/towels (but this can be arranged by request for an additional fee). Prices displayed are for 7 nights unless otherwise stated.
LETTINGS USUALLY COMMENCE on a SUNDAY afternoon and FINISH on a SUNDAY morning. Thankyou!

TO CONFIRM THE BOOKING a £200 deposit is required (which comprises £100 non-refundable deposit + £100 REfundable Good Housekeeping/Security deposit), with balance due 6 weeks before arrival.

CHANGEOVER DAY IN WINTER is Sunday because: a) flights are cheaper b) the pistes on Saturdays are lovely and quiet! c) roads going home on Sundays less busy. SUMMER CHANGEOVER DAY is flexible.
