The new home with new furniture and equipment is ideally situated close to beautiful beaches, picturesque rivers and lakes, and shopping areas with everything you need. Aqualand is 15 minutes away and lovely small Provençal villages and larger famous towns are all with easy reach. The villa is near the coast in between Cannes and St Tropez. The Roman town of Frejus is 15 minutes drive and the traditional village of Roquebrune Sur Argens is 5 minutes away. Saint Aygulf is famous for its long stretch of safe, sandy beach where all manner of beach activity can be found. Saint Raphael and Frejus promenades are 15 minutes away and during the summer there is a very popular lively market every night. Many restaurants are available overlooking the sea with prices to suit all pockets and occasions. The market down the road in Saint Aygulf is lively and local produce and the occasional gift bargain can be found. There are many other markets within 20 minutes drive. A child centred equestrian centre is next to the golf course entrance.

The villa sits on the domaine which has mainly French residents, but with a large number of the properties being used for holiday homes by various nationalities. Children can play outside with the large automated iron gates ensuring safety for them. The communal pool is new and is suitable for swimming lengths or for general leisure. There is a lifeguard during July and August. The domaine has views of the Estoril mountains to the east and close by are the hills leading up to the golf course. The small lake behind the home attracts much wild life including a resident Kingfisher,heron, ducks and their families, and if you are quick enough you can see a large carp jumping in the water. The raised patio at the foot of the garden is an ideal spot to watch the wildlife and the golfers teeing off on the 14th tee.

The villa is ideal for a family or perhaps two families with a maximum capacity of 6 people. The 27 foot by 13 foot master bedroom has stunning views onto the golf course. The super king size bed provides comfort and the room is bright and airy with a shower room en suite. The second king-size bedroom upstairs faces north and has lovely views out to the Esterel mountain range. The bathroom has a basin, bath with the shower over it and a separate toilet is also upstairs. Downstairs the living space is open plan, with a comfortable lounge area, dining area and modern kitchen. The third bedroom is downstairs which has two single beds, but this can be made into a further double. There is a downstairs toilet.

The beautiful garden has numerous relaxing and sunbathing areas where the sun can be found all day. There are sun loungers, a day bed, a dining table which seats six and a raised patio where you can watch the wildlife, golfers, or just bask in the sun with your music or a glass of wine.

This is a no smoking, no pets property.

Having lived in Lancashire all of my life, including the damp areas of Burnley, the dream of owning a property in the sun and warmth of the French Riviera came true in 2013. This was after both my wife and I spent 39 years working in education, with me working as a Headteacher and consultant for 25 years. We now spend 5 months of the year visiting and looking after our home and the mobile home we own 15 minutes away on Camping La Baume. Our own grand children now enjoy visiting us at our home and enjoying the facilities of the camp site, after our own three children insisted on returning year after year to the area. We drive down to the villa enjoying the journey with a stop in Paris to see our eldest son and French daughter in law, who then visit us in the sun by taking the four hour journey on the TGV.

Why mike hatch chose St Tropez region

We have owned a mobile home in Frejus, 15 minutes away from Villa 62 , for the last 22 years. After years of looking at more permanent houses we eventually found our "perfect house". The position next to the golf course is beautiful, the ambience of the community is perfect with mainly French residents. Its location is perfect with beaches 10 minutes away, shopping centres 15 minutes away and wine tasting being available "next door"! It is busy in the summer, but the area does not come to a grid lock like other parts of the Riviera. We have kept our mobile home as it provides a perfect mixture for our young family and friends i.e. plenty of activity and leisure facilities at the camp site, but peace and tranquillity and comfort at our house, with opportunities to all be together. Guests comments over the last three years include. Beautiful location, semi rural, but close to everything. The house was so clean, bright and airy. I loved the garden. The photos don't do it justice. We were so comfortable. I loved the garden. We want to buy a house like yours when we retire. We will definitely be back.

Notes on accommodation: This is a new home, which has been lovingly furnished with modern comfortable furniture. Villa 62 is a light and airy house with beautiful views onto Roquebrune golf course. It comfortably accommodates 6 people with the garden providing places and space for relaxation. The house is situated 150 yards from the road to Saint Aygulf in one direction and the medieval village of Roquebrune in the other. It is a very popular cycling area and bikes can be stored safely outside the front door. Outside: The garden is beautiful with stunning views onto the golf course and a small lake where you will see various wildlife including a resident Kingfisher, various ducks and their families.There are plenty of comfortable seating areas, and sun beds. The raised patio looks down the 14th fairway and has fruit trees growing around it including figs, apricots and grapes which are available for you to pick in season. The barbecue, dining area and day bed are all on the terrace immediately outside the lounge. Plenty of shade is given by the natural beautiful trumpet flowers over the canopy and the moveable patio umbrellas. The gentle breeze from the coast keeps you cool during the summer months. The communal swimming pool is long enough to swim lengths and graduates from shallow (knee depth) to 5/6 feet deep. Diving and long shorts are not allowed. The pool is 50 metres from the home but a security gate results in a longer walk of 3/400 metres. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen will be provided for up to 6 people. Other: The master bedroom has a large sofa which can double up as an extra lounge with TV and video, with phone to call UK landline numbers for up to an hour free.

lovely villa in nice surroundings

We have not long returned from our holiday at villa 62.would highly recommend this lovely villa. It is a short drive from the village of Roquebrune ,the beaches are also not to far away. The garden at the back of the villa is ideal to sit out and enjoy the views over the golf course.There is so many lovely places to drive to and the villa is in a ideal place to do this.

Beautiful modern villa in a lovely area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful villa. It is beautifully laid out and has been furnished to a high standard. There is a lovely terrace and garden with a decking area at the top where you can sit and enjoy the view.

We also enjoyed using the swimming pool that is situated within the complex.

We were able to drive to some lovely beaches and restaurants that were not far away.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone and hope to stay there again ourselves one day.

A beautiful, comfortable house in a lovely area

I don't usually get around to leaving reviews but just felt I had to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It's in a quiet gated compound overlooking a beautifully landscaped golf course, more like a country park. The house is well laid out and comfortable - a great deal of thought seems to have gone into making sure everything is provided for. The rooms are clean, modern, and beautifully furnished. The master bedroom is huge! Best of all is the shaded terrace where we enjoyed long leisurely breakfasts before venturing out to explore.

One of our favourite days out was the exciting high-speed boat across the bay to St Tropez to see the super-yachts of the rich and famous, with lunch afterwards at a lovely beach restaurant in St Maxime (15 minutes drive away), followed by a swim in the warm Mediterranean Sea. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic house and location

The house surpassed all expectations, beautifully furnished and comfortable and a wonderful garden to sit and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day overlooking the golf course. Set within a quiet and secure gated community but lovely beaches and restaurants in easy reach so best of both worlds. Whilst there visited Nice, St Tropez, Monte Carlo etc. all nearby.

Easy to award 5* and would highly recommend.

Coast/Beach:

The beaches of St.Aygulf are ten minutes drive away. Many other beaches can be found towards St Tropez, or in the easterly direction towards Cannes, Nice and Monaco along the famous Corniche.

Travel:

A car is essential. To drive from Calais it is 10 hours on the motorways if they are clear. To hire a car from Nice airport it is 50 minutes to Villa 62. Train is an option using Eurostar to Paris , transfer to Gare du Lyon, and then 4 hours to St Raphael where you can hire a car and travel the 20 minutes to the villa.

Distances:

The nearest village is Roquebrune which is 5 minutes by car, or a local bus. The beaches of St Aygulf and Les Issambres are 10 minutes away. Frejus and St Raphael are 15 minutes away. Many historic towns and villages inland can be found within 30 minutes. Port Grimaud is 30 minutes with St Tropez further round the coast unless you travel by boat from Les Issambres or Saint Maxime. The local farmers market is 2 minutes in the car or a 15 minute walk.

Further Details:

There are large shopping areas within 15 minutes drive including a Carrefour and a newly designed Geant. Local shops, banks, restaurants and takeaways can be found in the historic village of Roquebrune and also in nearby St Aygulf. A new farmers market where local produce direct from the farms can be purchased is very close. Numerous wine tasting degustations are within a couple of minutes drive including Chateau Vaudois, and Domaine des Planes.

There are many restaurants to suit all budgets, from Napoli in St Aygulf where simple pizzas to best steaks can be purchased at good prices, to the 5 star restaurant on the golf course where the three top chefs will guarantee a meal to remember. Snack bars on the local beaches are numerous and very popular at lunch times. The beaches are very accessible and have all kinds of leisure facilities to rent.
