Apartment over two floors, in Whitby, North Yorkshire Moors, - Peaceful Backwater Location, 10 Minutes Walk To The Beach, 2 Minutes Walk To Shops And Restaurant

Second and third floor maisonette with private entrance ( above our other lovely maisonette - see owners direct: code number 1870014). Our apartment sleeps 4 adults: 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. It has a well equipped family kitchen with dining area, separate lounge with two large settees and Abbey View, family bathroom with wash hand basin, wc, bath and shower over, also with a separate WC. Spacious hallway for storage of bags, bikes etc. Car park within 20 yards at a cost of £4.50 per day. 100yds from main shopping streets and restaurants and 500 yards from Westcliffe and beach approach. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. We are happy to accommodate 1 small dog. Our property is comprehensively alarmed for smoke and carbon monoxide.

We are Jenny and Lee Rogers. We have always loved Whitby and so decided to buy our own place there. We spend about 6 weeks to 8 weeks per year in the property and provide you with the opportunity to share it the remaining times.

Why Jenny Rogers chose Yorkshire Moors and Coast

We bought this apartment because we loved its location and the spectacular views it offers over the valley to the Abbey and Harbour. Silver Street is rapidly obtaining its own identity as a shopping street with craft shops, fish and chip shop, cheese shop, bistro, etc.

We hope you love it as much as we do.

What makes this apartment unique

The views are spectacular and the location is perfect to explore all aspects of the town. The car park 20 yards away can be a blessing when there are no spare spaces to be found on the roads.

Lovely accomidation

I stayed here for a week. The apartment is lovely, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. It's also perfectly located, with everything within walking distance, and the fish and chips from the Silver Street chip shop were delicious! The view of the abbey from the front bedroom is glorious. I can heartily recommend this as a base from which to explore Whitby and the surrounding area.

Loved the location and views of the abbey. Sunrise from the upstairs was magnificent .

Jenny and Lee have a beautiful,clean well equipped apartment. There was everything I needed. Upon my arrival I was glad to discover there was milk, tea and coffee. Also, a nice bottle of wine. My partner and I loved our long stay.

Whitby is a beautiful town with all the amenities from coffee shops to swimming pool. I found that the Whitby coffee deli had the most delicious lemon pistachio cake. Breakfast delicious.

The walk , at low tide, to Sandsend was spectacular, once there the walks thru the castle grounds was worth taking.

I would not hesitate to stay at Jenny and Lee's in the future

Brilliant location, spotlessly clean

2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 6) stayed 3 nights in the February half term. The property was perfect for us - great location with car park opposite. The house is really well kept with very thoughtful owner. Kids have discovered the joy of board games! Thank you so much Jenny

Our third Christmas

This was our third Christmas - I think that says it all - but thank you so much Jenny and Lee - everything is spotless, well maintained, comfortable, home from home - we tell everyone where we spend our Christmases! I can't praise this accommodation enough!

Great New Year break

Location is great a few minutes to the centre of Whitby, wonderful views from the main bedroom of the abbey and the sea, enjoyed morning coffee in the window seat admiring them. Property is lovely and clean, stayed here for 3 nights for New Year and had a great time. Apartment very well equiped with everything you could possibly need. Has a lot of stairs and the ones going up to the bedrooms are quite steep so some may have difficulty with them. Jenny was very easy to deal when booking. We will definately book with you again, maybe try downstairs next time. Thank you very much for our welcome gift. Tracy, Neil & Mick
