|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
A very pretty and beautifully designed Greek style cottage with its own swimming pool, set in an olive grove on a hillside overlooking Skopelos town and the sea beyond. The views are amazing - you can sit on the terrace and watch the boats come and go in the harbour below. At nights the twinkly lights from the town provide an equally gorgeous view. The cottage has a rustic country feel with wooden ceilings and whitewashed floors. It is very comfortably furnished with local art and ceramics and painted in white with soft blues and greens as accent colours.
"As this was our honeymoon we wanted it to be private and secluded. Elia cottage was just perfect. The cottage is set in beautiful olive groves with a breathtaking view and a gorgeous clean turquoise pool it was bliss and the perfect start to our marriage together."
"Great property for families - very nicely done, lots of space and welcome collection of pool toys and beach gear. Our children loved the pool"
"Very pretty indeed - loved the cottage - this was our second visit and it lived up to memory. Those views!"
We spent a week at Elia Cottage and didn't want to leave! The cottage is in a very peaceful location with magnificent views over Skopelos town and harbour. The pool area is lovely and the whole property is clean and well maintained. The attention to detail is very evident and inside everything is of high quality and very tasteful. Wonderful!
The nearest beach is 3km away but the island is full of gorgeous coves and bays to explore.
Skiathos is the nearest airport and is one hour away from Skopelos town by regular ferry boat. The cottage is 5 minutes by car from the port. Private water taxi's can also be arranged on request. Meet and greet can be arranged or driving instructions will be emailed prior to arrival.
Skopelos town or village is 2km away. 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes walk down the hill. The town is delightful with whitewashed houses and cobbled streets curling up the hill away from the sea. There are great shops, tavernas and bars dotted around and all along the waterfront. There is an excellent bakery in the port and fresh fish can be bought straight off the boats.
The tiny fishing village of Agnondas is a 15 minute drive away. It has a lovely little beach and three great fish restaurants. Our favourite beach, Limnonari is a further 5 minute drive and is a beautiful sandy crescent surrounded by pine trees. Wonderful boat trips and excursions can be taken from Skopelos harbour all around the marine park and to neighbouring islands.
