This delightful apartment is part of a building of just three apartments, sharing secluded grounds with a large swimming pool and garden terraces. Set behind its own gates, 2 minutes walk away from the sea and beautiful harbour front. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms over two floors (first and second floor) and provides some beautiful peaceful views from the balcony over the swimming pool and pine trees. You can watch the sunset from your balcony.

What makes this apartment unique

Set within its own walled garden and large gates, it feels like you're in your own peaceful space far removed from being on a large holiday complex.

The pool is reputed to be the largest in Porto Petro for a private dwelling over looked by our unique statues and surrounded by abundance of bougainvillea, a reason why so many of our guests return year after year.

Sitting on the terrace, or the huge balcony there is little light pollution so watching the incredible night sky and the millions of stars is common place as is watching the full sunset from the apartment.

Large terraces around swimming pool with table, chairs and sun loungers. Pool is cleaned May-October. Outside: Large balcony/terrace overlooking pool from living area with table chairs and seating area. Swimming pool terraces with table, chairs and sun loungers. Although 2 mins walk from harbour front, Jasmine Gardens is a little peaceful haven, watching the star filled sky or watching the sun set over the far reaching views from the balcony you'll feel like you're definitely away from it all

Lovely apartment in beautiful Porto petro

We frequently visit Porto petro and love it every time we stay. This apartment was in a great location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. Lovely size rooms and fully equipped self catering apartment.

Special interest holidays:

Ideal for cyclists, Mallorca is a popular 'training ground' for the Tour de France, Horse riding close by (Rancho Jaume). Diving School in the village. Walking, abundance of historical, archaeological sites, jogging, running, conservation area, bicycle rental close by. Boat charter available in Porto Petro and Cala D'Or.

Coast/Beach:

The property is located close to numerous beaches, activities and sports facilities. Porto Petro is a small and select resort with pretty harbour, diving school, 5 star hotel with spa, 2 supermarkets that bake their own bread, ice cream and waffle palour, shops and harbour side restaurants. Cala D’or is a short drive away with 7 sandy beaches and the Mondrago Natural Park is just 2 minutes drive away. With its miles of unspoilt coastline and pine forests, beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise seas.

Travel:

Car hire not essential but recommended as so much to see on island and the South East, great Hoppa service from airport, buses and taxis run a good service based in village. Approx. 45 minutes journey from Palma airport on good roads.

Distances:

Within village setting on the coast. Close to many places of interest and of natural beauty.

Further Details:

The Mondrago Natural Park is just 2 minutes drive away through olive groves, (or on the glass bottomed boat from the harbour) with its miles of unspoilt coastline and pine forests, beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise seas. It’s ideal for sunbathing and all water sports, everything a relaxing holiday could ask for. Cala D’Or, a short drive to the west of Porto Petro is a lively cosmopolitan resort, with its’ famous marina; you can while away balmy evenings watching the world go by, or sample the ‘lively’ night life in the many bars and restaurants in the centre. It boasts several beautiful beaches to choose from. Also, Cala Figuera, reputed to be the most picturesque fishing village on the island is just 15 minutes away along the coast.

700 year old Santanyi, the municipal town just a ten minute drive inland, has a bustling market each Saturday and Wednesday mornings where you can buy an array of locally produced fruit, veg, cheeses, meats, jewellery and crafts. It also boasts fabulous boutiques for clothes, art and crafts and a host of great restaurants to suit all tastes. But just to wander around the medieval lanes of this beautiful old town discovering its’ hidden treasures, stopping for a cold drink, a plate of tapas or a cafe con leche is as relaxing as it gets.

A non refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking and the full balance needs to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable £150.00 damage deposit payable by separate cheque is required with covering letter with your contact details (or can also be paid via BACs for your convenience), which will be refunded on return of the key.
