2 minutes walk to a large, modern children's play area and only 5 minutes walk to a major supermarket. 10 minutes walk to Sabinillas town centre and its restaurants with its blue flag beach just beyond. A stroll along the promenade to the bars and the large variety of restaurants at Puerto Duquesa. Several golf courses close by. Within easy driving distance of the many other towns and beaches of the Costa del Sol including Marbella, Porto Banus and Sotogrande.

The sandy blue flag beach of Sabinillas is about 12 minutes walk away. This beach extends for some 1.6 km.

There are beach-bars at intervals along the beach.

Travel:

Fly to Malaga or Gibraltar airports. Malaga airport is 50-60 minutes drive away (taxis about 130 Euros) and Gibraltar airport is 30-40 minutes drive (taxis about 70 Euros). A car is not essential but may work out cheaper than taxis airport transfers and will also give you the opportunity to explore the wider area. There is good local public transport and taxis are widely available.

Distances:

10 mins walk to Sabinillas for shops, cafes, banks, ATMs and pharmacy; 15 mins to Puerto Duquesa for cafes, bars, restaurants, boat trips and water sports organisers.

20 mins drive to Casares (Andalusian white town); 40 mins to Gibraltar (English shops); 60 mins to Tarifa (daytrip ferry to Tangiers & wind/kite surfing on 12km Atlantic coast beach); 75 mins to Ronda (picturesque town); 95 mins to Cadiz (historic town); 130 mins to Seville (capital of Andalucía) ; 135 mins to Granada (Alhambra).

The sandy blue flag beach of Sabinillas stretches for some 1650 metres between the Puerto de la Duquesa and the Rio Manilva and includes the entire frontage of the town of Sabinillas. It is also a “working beach” as local fishermen still launch their boats here recovering them to the beach on return via capstan winches. You will often see restaurateurs waiting for their return to select the day’s menu. The beach is cleaned daily throughout the summer and several lifeguards and first aiders are available to offer help where and when required.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for both families and groups of friends. It has marble floors throughout. There is no-smoking within the apartment or on the balcony. Pets are not allowed. Free private Wi-Fi ADSL broadband access within the apartment and communal Wi-Fi internet access around the swimming pools and other communal areas of the complex. Outside: The apartment has a large south facing balcony with table, four chairs, two reclining chairs and a drinks table. The development is fenced, gated and security patrolled with well kept garden areas and lawns. The swimming pool areas are separately fenced and gated for child safety and each has toilet facilities, infant paddling pool and open air showers. All the paths within the development are lit at night. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned before arrival and upon departure. Linen, towels and beach towels are included and will be changed mid-stay for rentals of 11 or more days. Other: All rooms are off a central hall.

Wonderful home from home apartment in the sun!

We arrived at this wonderful apartment on a Friday afternoon and immediately felt comfortable. It really is homely and was exceptionally clean and tidy on our arrival. Everything has been thought of - the owners have put so much thought in to what is needed by their clients whilst on holiday. The balcony is a peaceful place to sit in the mornings and take in the views, and during the evenings as the sun sets. The pool is just below the balcony and a with the lift down from the apartment, is easy enough to access with the sunbeds also provided by the owners. There is always plenty of space for everyone around the pool. The main supermarket is a 10 minute walk down the road and the beach just a few steps further. Puerto de la Duquesa is also easy to walk to and is good exercise after delicious ice-cream on the way back! We will certainly be returning next year and looking forward to it already. It is somewhere to relax, unwind and enjoy the sunshine with both pool and beach close by. Thank you - we had a wonderful holiday.

Family holiday in Sabinillas

One of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in, spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. Everything we needed was at hand and the sun beds and beach towels were a big plus. Booking process with Geoff was seamless and extremely efficient as were our dealings with Paul, the agent in Sabinillas. Overall a 4/5 holiday experience and I would certainly recommend the apartment to anyone who may be considering a holiday in this area of the Costa del Sol.

Fantastic Apartment

Fantastic Apartment, very well equipped and very clean. Added bonus was the Wifi for the kids. Pictures don't do it justice. Owner is perfect to deal with and replied to everything I needed very quickly. Would highly recommend this apartment, walking distance to beach, bars and restaurant. Will definitely return here

great holiday in Sabinillas

My family and I arrived at the apartment on 13/08/2016.

We were met at the apartment by Paul and his wife who let us in and showed us around.

I can honestly say that this is the nicest apartment that we have stayed in on our travels.

Everything was as described and more!

It was absolutely spotless and had everything that you could possibly need for a relaxing stay in this beautiful part of Spain.

Nice touches like beach towels and your own sunbeds to bring down to the pool make life easier(no getting up at 6:00 to put towels on sunbeds)

The area itself is still quite Spanish with plenty of tapas bars and on the beachfront there is loads of restaurants to choose from.

It is a 10 minute walk to beach and about 15 minutes to the port of La Duquesa which has all the Irish bars,italians,Indians and a Chinese.

There is a new indian restaurant just past the port called mini India which we enjoyed.

The apartment is ideally situated as you can have the quieter Sabinillas or the livelier La Duquesa.

We would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends and are considering having our holiday there next year.

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment

Quiet gated complex with well maintained large pool and gardens. Easy walk to the beach, port, shops restaurants etc. The apartment is clean comfortable and well equipped. Close to the bus route from Malaga to La Linea (Gibraltar) 5-10 mins walk. No need for a car. We were met at the apartment and shown around. All basics food and drink were there on arrival. Transfers can be arranged. Had a very relaxing comfortable time here, would definitely recommend.

Lovely Apartment

Recently returned from a 2 week stay at the apartment and couldn't fault it. Everything as described and located 15-20 minutes walk from the lovely port where we spent most evenings. Pool area very relaxing and was never really busy despite the fact we were in peak season. The owner, Geoff, was happy to answer any queries we had and the local agents, Brenda and Neil were equally helpful. Would definitely recommend.
