We are only 10 minutes from the airport and taxi cost approx €13. Close to bars, restaurants, beach, and two 18 hole golf courses. Nearest cafe/Minimarket five minute walk, it is called Oraixa and they offer free Wi-Fi, Large beer only cost €1.50 and large glass of wine €2. Further down the town is a larger supermarkets on par with ASDA and Dunnes Stores called the Atlántico Centre which has a cinema and a large SPAR shopping centre. Great selection of meats, vegetables and fish with taxi rank outside the door.
We are a married couple in our early 50's from Dublin Ireland, with 2 children, age 28, and 25. We fell in love with Fuerteventura in 2006 after a brief family holiday on our return to Ireland we decided to purchase our own piece of paradise. With the good weather almost all year round it makes it easy to enjoy and relax. The first thing we did was to totally renovate and modernise the property for our comfort. Our main bed room has a comfortable double bed with access doors from the bedroom to the Large patio area.

The bungalow is situated 10 minutes from Fuerteventura airport. Very close to local amenities, shops bars, restaurants, beach, water sports and 2 18 hole golf courses. A Pleasant walk to the centre of Caleta and local beach. Very close to Atlantico Shopping Centre which has a cinema, bowling, Euro Spar and many retail outlets. Other attraction outside Caleta include: Water park in Corralejo and Zoo both about 40 minutes drive. The apartment has Wi-Fi cost is approx. €15 per week. We offer deals for stays over 2 weeks or over, Such as Stay two weeks and get free "one week Wi-Fi" or stay three weeks or more and get "15% discount". Stay longer and we will gladly negotiate.
Ideal for a relaxing, laid back holiday.
Spent a great relaxing week at Casa Tir Na Nog in November. Weather was not the best for a couple of days but that did not detract from this excellent apartment which has all the facilities you could need.
It also benefits from a quiet location albeit up a fairly long and steep hill although taxis are readily available and very reasonably priced if you find the walk just too much to face. The walk down to the centre of Caleta De Fuste takes about 20 minutes or so and is great for honing your appetite in anticipation of enjoying a good meal and a drink in one of the many excellent restaurants.
Jimmy’s directions to the apartment were absolutely spot on and it was always easy to find a parking space close by. The apartment was very well prepared for our arrival and the recently added conservatory really came into its own on the one day when it rained quite a bit. It was great for just relaxing with a good book (and a glass of something refreshing!) whilst being warm and comfortable but out of the rain. The entire complex was obviously well maintained and offered an excellent pool area which was almost deserted most of the day.
Jimmy was extremely helpful in helping to resolve a problem which arose after we had left the island only to find when we arrived back in Scotland that I had lost my house keys. The keys were eventually traced and Jimmy immediately arranged for them to be returned to me – many thanks for that Jimmy!!
Will most certainly return to Fuerteventura in the future and would certainly consider staying again at this apartment and will also recommend it to anyone I know who is considering traveling to the island for a well-earned break.
Dubious about booking on the site at first but the owners were amazing with their communication from start to end. The apartment was absolutely wonderful and the weather was great too. The apartment had everything you needed with the added bonus of a double bed. The other thing that I loved was having your own comfortable sun lounger on your own patio. We went to the private pool a couple of times and no one was there apart from my husband and me. I have written to the owners again to book for next year already. Totally recommended *****.
My husband and I have stayed in many properties dotted around Caleta, this rental was by far our favourite and offered great value for money. The apartment is located halfway up Chipmunk Mountain, so there is a lovely sea view as you relax on the patio. Its a small complex which is home to other renters and some Spanish residents. The pool is 2 minutes walk away and we had the whole pool to ourselves on many occasions, although we did stay after the school holidays had finished.
The main town is a pleasant 20 minute walk down the hill, which allows you to top up your tan and passes right by the Tuesday and Saturday market. We enjoy walking so a car wasn't essential during our stay, but a taxi back is less than 4 euros if you are laden with shopping bags.
We found the apartment to be very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities that you need, including washing machine, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good collection of DVD's and even a pair of binoculars to look over the golf course. A conservatory was just installed before we arrived and this has really made the apartment feel spacious.
All in all we had a great stay and really felt like we were at home. Jimmy (the owner) provides great communication and his property manager Paul lives on the complex if you need any assistance.
We definitely recommend this apartment and will be looking to stay again in the future.

Never used privately owned rentals before, but Jimmy made the process simple and straightforward!
Lovely apartment, clean and cosy, very peaceful location, quiet pool area. All the facilities you would have at home, with added bonus of wonderful weather.
Approx 20 minutes walk to centre of Caleta Dr Fuste, great restaurants and bars; particularly Kobe Steakhouse and Chinese restaurant in town opposite Caleta Gardens.
Will definitely be booking again, and highly recommend!!

Just spent four week's in this lovely home from home bungalow
